Upper Court is set in 15 acres of grounds with 5 self catering cottages within. The Stables is a cottage for 4 or 5 people in 2 bedrooms,under our coaching arch. Enjoy a stay with your family or friends and enjoy what Upper Court can offer.
The old Stables downstairs and converted hayloft upstairs, offers space for 4 or 5 people. The downstairs double bedroom has a bathroom and separate shower. Up steep stairs is a bedroom with double bed and a single bed, and steps down to a wet room bathroom. Ideal for a family of 5 or those wanting to interconnect with the other 2 cottages.
Interaction with guests
A bit! Bill and Diana have run Upper Court since the 1970s and still live in the manor House with their dog Bertie. Their own family come and go with grandchildren in tow!
Enjoy yourselves but leave things as you found them , please! No noise after 11pm as we are in a conservation area.
The Herford family are all involved in running Upper Court. The pottery is Oliver's department and very active with classes and sales. Auriol also takes classes when she is not teaching in London (see .
Bill is in charge of the huge garden with the help of David. The pub is now run by Jake and Lee who are very welcoming.
