Interaction with Guests
I try to meet my guests at the apartment when they arrive. Sometimes I'm unable to meet personally, but I'm always available by phone or email to answer any questions or address any concerns. I'll offer as many or as little suggestions as desired for places to eat, things to see, or how to enjoy the neighbourhood and the city.
I have lived in the neighbourhood personally for 6 years and I have no desire to move since it's such a great place. It's so central in the city that you can walk to anything you need and find different flavours of city living all around.
It couldn't be easier to get around the area and beyond as there are two subway stations within a five minute walk. There are also major east/west streetcar lines super close to the apartment. But you may never even need transit as walking around the area you will find everything at your fingertips.

Ben's apartment was excellent. Very clean and well laid out with everything you would need. As others have said, the location is really good and makes getting to all parts of downtown Toronto quick and easy. My wife particularly liked being able to lie in bed and watch the light show on the CN Tower each night. The bed was comfortable, laundry facilities in the basement were easy to use, shower/bath worked well and the apartment building was nice and quiet. The location of the apartment building is easy to find and in a safe-looking neighborhood. We had a couple of small questions about how things worked in the apartment which were answered by email almost immediately. We stayed in various hotels around Canada in the 2nd week of our holiday and none matched up to our stay in the apartment. We highly recommend staying at Ben's place.
Ben was great! He met us when we arrived, showed us around the apartment and the facility (which has a pool and a gym), and gave us some recommendations on places to visit. The apartment itself was clean and well-taken care of, comfortable, and had nice views of the city. Its location was also very convenient, being very close to Queen Street shops, restaurants, and so forth. Would definitely recommend this place for an individual or couple traveling to or through Toronto.
Stayed here for 4 nights with my mom. It was clean and spacious for a 1 bedroom condo downtown!
Everything about our experience staying at Ben's place was great. The location was just about perfect: very close to subway and two major streetcar lines, and an easy walk to lots of restaurants, attractions and interesting neighborhoods. The unit itself was small but needed nothing---pretty much every amenity was on hand. Noise from the neighborhood or other units in the building wasn't even noticeable.
As a host, I couldn't have asked for a better experience from Ben. He responded promptly to my inquiry and was proactive about sending directions and instructions to get access to the apartment, and made himself available for more help if we needed it.
Overall I thought this was an excellent experience and an excellent value. 5/5 for sure.
We were in Toronto for a week. Ben was the perfect host, willingly meeting us late at night and checking all was OK after a day or so (and it certainly was!). The apartment was spotless, well and tastefully appointed and warm, with double-glazed windows and a nice balcony with views. The location is brilliant - very central to all areas of the city centre but in a quiet safe street. The complex has lifts; a fitness centre and a big laundry.
This is a '10 out of 10 for value' apartment.
We had an awesome stay at Ben's apartment. The place is modern and tidy, with ample space. We stayed 10 nights and were happy to see there's some basic kitchen equipment and condiments to use. The location is fantastic, right between the downtown and Chinatown, with a view of the CN tower. Ben and his girlfriend were both super friendly, responding very quickly to all our questions. He also very generously offered compensation when the building decided to do some last minute maintenance which required entry into the apartment during our stay - very much appreciated! Definitely recommend this apartment and would be happy to stay here again.
everything about my stay at ben's condo was perfect. as there are many choices when booking a stay in toronto, if clean, attractive, centrally located and fully equipped are what you are looking for, i would look no further than here.
i would not hesitate to stay on my next trip to toronto, which will be soon.
ask ben to suggest his favorite asian restaurants. and do not miss out eating at khao san road if exquisitely flavored thai food appeals to you.
