The place, location & Simon were all great - highly recommended! Easy in, easy out.
We absolutely LOVED our stay at Simon's place! The pics don't even come close to doing the space justice -- it's an enormous studio, great modern kitchen, nice bathroom, perfect little organized closet area, washer and dryer, fast wifi, nicely separated sleeping quarters and everything was totally clean. The studio is behind the house of a great couple with an adorable dog that you'll love, you have a nice yard for sitting outside, access to 2 bikes which makes getting around town crazy easy, ample street parking, and it's super walkable to restaurants and stores on both 1st and Congress. Simon was super easy to communicate with and we never had any issues. We would 1000% recommend this place to anyone!
I stayed at Simon's studio for about three months and loved it! The apartment is large, very comfortable, clean and modern, and in a great location (walking distance to cafes/restaurants/public transit). I had lived in another part of Austin before, but I much preferred living here even though it was further from my office. Simon was always responsive and very helpful anytime anything needed to be fixed or when I needed help.
Very comfortable place in a great location. Host even left us coffee and pastries for the morning as he knew we were arriving late from the airport. Would stay again!!
What better place to stay in exciting Austin than this clean, comfortable and conveniently located studio!

About the Host, Simon
Born in the U.K., I moved to Italy when I was in my teens and spent a lot of my adult life there. As many, I moved to Austin for a spell and ended up staying. Difficult to move away from that southern warmth...and now that I am married to a girl from New Orleans, I am here for good..
Photographer, sailor, rower and sometime runner, I love the Austin outdoors and life in the hill country. I am a passionate cook, and a South Austin type of guy when it comes to eating out. The choice and creativity in food, south of the river, is really a match for any town and one of the reasons I bought my house in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood. I have just started listing both Studio and Guest House on AirBnB so come check them out!
