Kaitlyn and I had a lovely stay with Peter. He is a wonderful host and full of information for visiting the area. The house is warm and our room was wonderfully cozy. The house is convenient to the bus service to the center of the city.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed an extra night. I would say the perfect neighborhood home.
We will be back.
I had a very pleasant stay in Peter's house. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The bed was comfortable and had a heated underblanket. The bathroom was big and convenient. The kitchen was well equipped. All the house was also very quiet!
There is a bus stop outside the house with four buses going to the centre of Newcastle in just 10 minutes. There is also a Tesco market in walking distance.
Paul was a very kind host and he made me feel at home. I definitely recommend Paul's house!
It was really nice stay generally in Newcastle and especially at Peter's place! I'd definitelly recommend this place.
Peter is very hospitable and helpful. It was very kind of him to prepare another single bed for us though mattress was originally agreed upon. The other tenants are also friendly. The place is clean and comfortable. It's a pity that we were only there for one night. Recommended!
Peter was a warm and welcoming host. Unfortunately me and my girlfriend only stayed one night, too short to experience a lot. We visited Hadrians Wall just before meeting Peter. The room was nice and clean, filled with books. We slept on a double air mattress, which we knew in advance. Of course a real bed is better, but it wasn't too bad. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a dinner; the bathrooms were spacious. We borrowed the washing machine, and let it dry during the night. There's a pub and a small super market nearby, which have all the basics. The next day we shortly went to Newcastle city center, but didn't have the time to see much. Would like to go back some time, and maybe also talk to the other guests in the house a bit more. It's worth a visit!
Lovely home in a good location for discovering Newcastle. Shame we were only staying one night, so were unable to get to speak more to the various lodgers/visitors to Peter's home. 4 stars given as a real bed (instead of double air bed) would have been preferred, otherwise no complaints! Would recommend for the price.
A very welcoming host, in a lovely and comfortable environment. I will definitely be staying here again next time i'm in Newcastle!
