  • Alice's B&B was comfortable, quiet & a safe area. The colosseum was a 10-15min walk away but easy access to buses that take you into town or a station. Giuseppe greeted me upon arrival with advice on local restaurants & great to have breaky included at the nearby cafe. It was nice to have the bathroom to myself and a kitchen to use. Thanks for the nice send off Giuseppe even though it was very early in the morning. Thanks again!

  • I really enjoyed my stay in Alice's Bed & Breakfast! Giuseppe was friendly and helpful, and as a solo traveller I felt very safe in his place! He recommended places to go and answered all the questions I had. He even made sure to wish me safe travels as I left early in the morning on Monday :)

The "bed & breakfast" is a sectioned off part of his apartment and has two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a sitting area and kitchenette! The wifi works best in the sitting area, although I could still get a weak signal in my room (the single green bedroom). My bathroom was very modern and the whole bed and breakfast was spotlessly clean!

The neighborhood is not super close to tourist destinations (usually a bus ride although I did walk one day), but it's very authentic and Italian. I loved the breakfast-- a pastry and cappuccino from a nearby cafe (the cafe owners were so kind and the pistachio croissant was divine!)

The neighborhood was very peaceful for the most part, although there was a HUGE party in the apartment complex next door on Saturday night of my stay that was quite loud and went on very late... I assume this isn't too common but I'm not sure.

Anyways, I would recommend this bed and breakfast to friends, couples, and solo travelers alike! Giuseppe runs a great place!

  • My time spent at Giuseppe's home was great. He is a excellent host and the accommodations were very good. He helped with bus and tourist information and it was great to have someone who speaks English upon arrival in Rome. The area is very nice, residential and quiet. The metro is close as are the buses to the city core. I had a wonderful experience in Rome. Someday, I hope to return....

  • Giuseppe was very kind and informative, fluent in english, and available. This is a proper B&B. His place was just as described. I love the decor, the new bathroom, the location was just outside of Rome center so it's a nice respite from the bustlingly loud and congested center. It is a very convenient location for there are 2 bus stops within a block away that will take you either to Termini train station, or Piazza Venezia, which is the Center of Rome. The location is also a nice walk to "Rome", from the bottom of Circus Maximus, so you can feel the city unfold from the historical; Colosseum, Forum, then to the tourist city center. There is a tasty and authentic Sardinian restaurant up the street, a couple of cafe's down the street, a local market and a pizza bakery, all within a block or so. It's a good neighborhood for real Romans so there are banks, more restaurants, cafe's, more conveniences for daily living. After a full day in Rome, dodging tourists and getting an eyeful and a heart full of history and beauty, Alice's B & B is a nice place to come back to unwind. Comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, clean, quiet, conveniently furnished with wifi, tv, private bath in room, and only one floor up. Nothing but comfort so that Touring can start all over again in the morning.

  • This has been a perfect stay for me as a single traveller.
The location is near the metro Re di Roma and Tuscolana station, so it is easy to get access to the ancient Rome centre and the airport.

The hosts speak English fluently and they are very eager to help in any issue a guest can have during the stay.

The house is located in a quiet district with all neccessary facilities (shops, restaurants etc.).

  • The overall impression is very positive, the apartment is well-located with respect to the city center (10 min walk from Re di Roma), and Giuseppe speaks perfect English (rare feat in Italy!). His advices on the best way to get to the BnB helped a lot.

I stayed in the 1-person "Olive room". It was small but tidy, all furniture in perfect condition. I put 4/5 stars solely because of problems with hot water in the toilet and the fact that the room door is not lockable, rendering it accessible by other guests.

The standard croissant-and-coffee breakfast is in a bar around the corner (closed on Sundays though), croissants are fresh and yummy :)

  • Booked very spontaneously, fast answering cooperative hosts who are offering simple but comfortable and recommendable rooms in the centre of Rome. A good place to stay.

  • I really enjoyed my stay at Guiseppe's. The room was cozy and clean, the breakfast at the cafe down the street was simple but satisfying, and the location was quiet and yet close enough to the heart of Rome. Guiseppe was extremely accommodating and quick to answer any questions or concerns I might had.

  • When we arrived at the apartment we were greeted by Guiseppe. From the moment we showed up he was super helpful and spoke great English. If it wasn't for him we would have been lost in Rome. The breakfast in the morning he supplied was great. He told us what busses and trains to take which helped us a lot. He also had free wifi and a full kitchen. I would highly recommend staying here.
