The space

Located in the village, 50 mt. from the lake shore, this two-bedroom apartment is on the top floor of a three-story building. It is completely renovated and features a balcony with lake view, living room with kitchen, and bathroom. Free wireless.

Located halfway between Rome and Viterbo (both 40 minutes away by car), Trevigano offers free and equipped beaches, sailing clubs, hiking trails and bike lanes. During the summer a water taxi connects Trevignano to Anguillara and Bracciano. The village sports several sites of interest (the ancient Borgo, the fortress, the Etruscan Museum, and the Birds of Prey Center of Rocca Romana). Furthermore, there is an amusement park, a theater with quality programming (movies are dubbed in Italian), several high-quality restaurants, ice cream parlors and bread stores. Rome can be easily reached directly by bus, or by train from Cesano, which is a 15 minutes drive from the village.

Tina met us at the airport in Rome with the keys. This suited as both, as we arrived late Friday night and it didnt suit her to return to Trevignano. The listing was as described, a lovely large apartment in the centre of T.R. It was a perfect base to explore the locality and amenities. The apartment had everything as described, including wi-fi, and Tina had even left coffee/milk for us. There is a lovely balcony for reading which gets the sun nicely in the evening, just after youve come home! T.R. itself was a quiet, quaint slice of Italian life. There are many nice restaurants, a handful of bars and few foreign tourists. It felt like you'd be a local after a couple of weeks. There is not that much english spoken, so you do need to make an error in Italian.

Tina was a wonderful host who greeted us on arrival. The apartment is a stones-throw from the lake with fantastic restaurants and bars nearby. A wonderful 3 nights, fully recommended!

TIna and her family gave us a very warm welcome indeed and provided everything we needed for our stay - nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment is comfortable, clean and well located just a stone's throw from the lake (which can be seen from the balcony). There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and Trevignano is a lovely relaxing place to stay.

We hadden 5 perfecte dagen in Tina's appartement.
