Daniela's place is very central, spacious, clean and it was perfect for our trip to Siena. Daniela herself is very welcoming and helpful. We'd certainly stay there again.
We really enjoyed our two nights at Palazzo Masi. Check in was trouble free and Daniela is a welcoming host, providing us with tips on local attractions and restaurants. It would be tough to beat the location -- maybe 50 meters (maybe less) from Piazza del Campo. We had some unexpected changes during our stay (we needed an additional room at the last minute) and Daniela was able to accommodate; she even arranged a cab to pick us up at our front door for the ride to the train station. We would be happy to stay with Daniela again!
We stayed in a double room on the 3rd floor of the beautiful Palazzo Masi. The location is fantastic, only a 50 metre stroll to the Piazza del Campo with a great restaurant opposite, recommended by Daniela and quite rightly. Daniela was very helpful in making sure with the police that we could leave our car on a disabled parking bay right outside. We were able to leave it there for the entire 2 days of our stay and this made life very much easier when it came to pack the car and leave. The room was perfectly comfortable and, although facing the street, not too noisy. This was October. But if you want to stay right in the heart of a city, then some city noises are fine. The bathroom was just down the hall and could do with a bit of modernisation but it all worked ok. Terrific location and a great place to stay.
Daniela's place is the most central accommodation one could ever expect to stay in the heart of Siena. The room was clean, filled with family antiques and easy access to the bathroom. I found myself popping back to my room during the day and then heading out again. It was quite noisy at night with celebrations after the recent Palio winner being in that local area, which added to the excitment and atmosphere of the beautiful city. The only comment was there was no access to a fridge. Daniela was extremely friendly and helpful and spoke very good English to recommend tours and great eating places. Daniela even organised a taxi for me when leaving which was on time etc. I would stay there again.
Hi Alison! Unfortunately I didn't meet any Frankie, as you are listed on here, but I had the pleasure to meet you.You arrived during the few days celebrating the victory of our district, when we had to refuse many requests from people coming to Siena for this special event regarding the Palio.Other our guests all participated to the festival and had fun.Apart these special events, our room is quite.
Then, we rent (website hidden)'s not equipped with the fridge and for guests needing of kitchen facilities, I have listed some apartments elsewhere in Siena.Reading the services that each kind of accommodation offers is helpful. Many thanks for your stay and your nice words.Looking forward to meet you next time.
We had a fantastic stay in Daniela's apartment. She was a lovely hostess and offered us many suggestions of places to see and things to do.
She also gave some excellent recommendations of places to eat and I would urge you to try them out, they were excellent!
I would highly recommend the apartment and the location is excellent!
Great location, literally right on the main square. Clean, simple and a perfect base to explore Siena from. Daniela and Alizzardo were very helpful, super knowledgeable and excited to share their advice and recommendations with us...Daniela even booked a taxi to the train station for us the morning we left! We would definitely recommend their apartment (in a an 800 year old building! ) to anyone visiting Siena. Just don't forget earplugs...great central location=lots of noise at night ;)
Daniela's accommodation really in RIGHT in the heart of Sienna only a short stroll to the major attractions. Daniela was a lovely host and full of helpful information. The room is in an 800 year old Medieval building - certainly a great place for anyone interested in history!
Daniela was incredibly friendly and welcoming! she gave us some very useful info about siena and answered any question I had before my arrival there, almost immediately! Her place is nice and traditional, just two steps from Piazza del Campo! I definetely recommend it during your visit in beautiful Siena!
Daniela's place is in a wonderful location, just off the Piazza del Campo, where the Palio takes place. She was very hospitable, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again next time I'm in Siena!
Daniela's room is located in a gorgeous XIII century town palace, right in the center of Siena. At the limit of 2 contrade, literrally 1 min from Piazza il Campo, you can reach every part of town easily.
The rooms are well furnished, with everything you need, and nice 'exhibits' of local artesanry in the alleyways.
I would definitely recommend booking the room while in Siena,
