Visit "Real Florida" on the outskirts of Orlando. The area is quiet yet convenient to many Orlando, Daytona and New Smyrna attractions!

Our spacious home has a guest "suite" with 3 available bedrooms and 1 private bathroom. Bedroom #1 has a queen sized bed, bedroom #2 has 2 twin sized beds, bedroom #3 has 1 full sized bed. Bedrooms #2 and #3 are adjoining. Every bed has a hand crafted custom designed quilt by (website hidden).

The home's indoor common areas include 2 large living spaces, 2 indoor limestone fire places, kitchen and bar. 1 indoor living space has a TV with DVD player and access to internet (Netflix, Pandora, etc.) but not cable. The outdoor area includes a large seasonally solar-heated salt water pool area with tiki torches, heated hot tub, gas outdoor fire pit, barbeque grill and pool bathroom. Enjoy shade umbrellas, pool floats, popsicles and cold drinks. Out back past the fence is a small dock on a canal to Lake Markham. Fishing and john boat rides available for additional charge.

Patrick has spent at least 20 years driving boats up and down the local rivers in his spare time. He would gladly take you on a personally guided tour on the river of your choice for additional charge. Winter time it is nice to go on the Saint John's River to Blue Springs to see the Manatees and have a picnic lunch. In summer time try the Saint John's River to Silver Glenn. An alternate trip any time of year is to go up the Wekiva River to the local tiki bar/swimming hole.

Patrick and Erin grew up believing people make a house a home. As one of the oldest of 7 children Patrick learned to cook a fabulous southern Sunday brunch very early in life. Erin grew up going to Grandma's every year where 30-40 people stayed for the holidays with only 1 bathroom! We do not intend those extreme conditions but we both love people and wish to meet new people and share our home with others.

Other than the main Central Florida attractions - don't forget we are also convenient to the Sanford Orlando International Airport, Kennedy Space Center, Daytona Speedway and beach, New Smyrna Beach, cross-county bike/walking trails, soccer fields, Central Florida Zoo, Lake Sylvan Park and recreation center, Blue Springs National Park, Wekiva River, St. John's River, Mount Dora, Sanford riverwalk, Sanford splash pad and large outdoor playground, Heathrow bars and restaurants, shoppes and movie theater, Ocala National Forest....the list is endless.

We are approx. 15 minutes to Sanford Orlando International Airport, 25 minutes from Disney attractions, 40 minutes to the Orlando International Airport, 30 minutes to downtown Orlando (Orlando Science Center, Church and Wall Streets), 45 minutes to premiere outlet shopping. There is easy access to Interstate 4 and toll road 417.

We welcome all guests! We are ready to accommodate families with babies and small children. The youngest guest we have hosted is 6 weeks old. She was great!

We will prepare breakfast for you each day between 7-9am. We like to serve a variety – including but not limited to homemade bread, stuffed French toast, hot/cold cereals, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes, home-made frappuccinos, fresh fruit smoothies, coffee, hot cocoa and tea bar.

Come visit and see the stars from the back yard with a short commute to many Central Florida attractions!

  • This was our first experience with airbnb, and it couldn't have been better. As soon as we entered the Kreusch families' home, we felt welcome. Besides the fact that they are wonderful hosts and very nice people, including their dog Jake, there are many other things which made this stay great:
The rooms were beautiful, spacious and very clean. There were towels, folders with trip ideas and many other helpful things. The pool is a great plus too.
Erin spoiled us with her delicious home made breakfast and even accommodated our need for a gluten free meal for my daughter! Thank you!!!
Not only did we enjoy our time there we also felt that we made new friends. I can highly recommend this to anyone. I hope to be back there again....

  • We had a fabulous stay at the Kreusch family home. We made last minute spring break plans and Erin was very quick to respond to our questions and requests. Both Patrick and Erin were very helpful with ideas and advice as we made our plans--way more helpful than I ever expected. We were there mid-week, so we were not able to take advantage of the boat trip that Patrick offers; I definitely want to plan a weekend trip next time so we can do that!

The home is just what you see in the pictures and the bedrooms and bathroom are very private. They were quite accommodating in allowing us to keep dinner items in the refrigerator. I was looking forward to and enjoyed game night with the Kreusch family, but I also believe they would have been just as hospitable if we had preferred to keep to ourselves.

We weren't there long enough to enjoy the pool or the hot tub, but both were inviting. I definitely would come back to their home--indeed, I hope we have the chance to do it again, soon, as they are a truly delightful family!

  • We very much enjoyed our stay with Erin, Patrick and their son, and of course their dog, Jake. Erin is a great cook, she always made sure we had something to snack on too, like cookies and such. Patrick was very helpful in finding things to do and giving us lots of directions and suggestions on places to eat. They led us to Blue Springs State Park where we saw a lot of manatees among a beautiful setting. Jake made sure we were watched over and was very amiable. The bed in the queen room was comfy and the bath was nice too and even had soft water which we appreciated! The hot tub very relaxing but it still was too cold to swim but that was alright with us. We had fun discussing multiple subjects with them and learned how to brew home made beer, which Patrick does. This stay was as good as any bed and breakfast we've stayed in before, even non AirBnb listings, and at a very reasonable price. If we go back to Orlando we would love to stay there again. Erin even sent my computer mouse to me in the mail after mistakenly leaving it there. Thank you!

  • This was an outstanding experience. We were welcomed like family and treated like family. The rooms were comfortable, the food great and we developed a good rapport right away. They also have a wonderful pet dog named Jake and he made us feel like part of the family as well. We would gladly stay with them again.

  • Clean, comfortable, and perfect! We very much enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very friendly and made us feel like welcome guests. The queen size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was right across the hall. There was also a nice pool that we didn't take advantage of due to time constraints, but it was clear and inviting. Breakfast was tasty- and we enjoyed the opportunity to have breakfast with the family. We appreciated being asked the night before what time we would like breakfast and what we would like to have. I would definitely recommend Erin's place- way better than a hotel and much more homey! Thanks to both!

  • To sad we hadn't enough time to enjoy this great family and house.
Erin, Patrick and Hayden were really friendly, it was interesting to talk to them and share life experiences. Thanks for using the nice and warm pool and for staying in this beautiful house. If it will be possible in the future, we'll come back. Thanks!

  • Erin and her family are very nice, warm and friendly. We have had a very pleasant stay in their home for 8 days. Their home is very spacious, quiet and comfortable, just like a home away home. Erin's breakfast is delicious and various. We really enjoy the stay there. Thanks to Erin and her lovely family!

Patrick and I enjoy many hobbies and activities such as water skiing, bike riding, hosting parties, home brewing beer, and traveling. We also have a 4 year old son who keeps us laughing daily! We have opened our home as a "host" on this website in hopes that we can expose ourselves and our son to new friends, cultures and experiences through the process. So far we have been truly blessed by the guests coming into our home. We enjoy helping visitors plan their activites by giving "Tips from the locals". If you have a question - we are very open and honest, just ask! We have a welcoming, relaxing and quiet home.
