Reconnect with nature in this 1 bedroom luxury safari tent! The “Jammer” comes with a queen bed, bathroom with toilet and vanity, a kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, electric burner, sink, and coffee bar. You will also have full use of the luxurious bath house and pavilion. The “Jammer” is one of 9 total rental units on Glamping Retro property, which totals 16 acres. Glamping Retro sits on the TN/NC state line, and backs up to the Pisgah National Forest. The AT is 1.4 miles from us!

The space
Glamping Retro consists of 9 separate units on the property. We have a 4-unit luxurious bath house, outfitted with a toilet, walk-in shower and sink in each, that will be available for you to use during your stay. Also, we have a covered 2000sqft pavilion, setup with outdoor couches, two 6-person tables, and numerous games for you to enjoy. On the back deck of the pavilion, we have a gas firepit with 6 chairs surrounding it, as well as a wood burning firepit a short walk from your porch.

Other things to note
We ask that you do not take the towels from your unit off premises to swimming areas. You must bring your own towels for rafting adventures, etc. The bathroom includes bath wash, conditioner, and shampoo. Glamping Retro is not responsible for the loss of or stolen items from your rental, so please keep your unit locked. It does get cool at night, even in the summertime, so we recommend that you pack accordingly. Quiet time will be at 10:00 pm and all outdoor lights will go off at 11:00 pm, except the solar pathway lights. Please be respectful of other glampers that go to bed early. If you choose to swim on the property, it is at your own risk.

The reason we chose this area was our love for the beautiful Eastern TN mountains! After opening The Pond House, our first AirBnb, in December of 2019, we loved it so much that we decided to open a family business based around unique vacation rentals with our daughter and son-in-law, called Glamping Retro. We love opening up our spaces to our wonderful guests, and will do whatever it takes to make your stay with us memorable!
