The Space

Bright open space apartment located in the heart of Pigneto district, one of the most interesting neighbourhoods of Rome.

The apartment has a living room furnished with a very comfortable couch facing a satellite TV broadcasting International information channels (BBC World News, Al Jazeera, France 24), a separate kitchenette, and a dining room.
The sleeping area is separated from the rest of the apartment by a bookshelf which creates a cosy bedroom with a double bed and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a bathtub, that can be used as shower as well, and a washing machine.

Both the living room and the bedroom have a skylight that allows natural light during the day, making the apartment very sunny. The skylights are provided with blinds.

The apartment is equipped with a high-speed wireless Wi-Fi internet connection, autonomous hot water supply, hair dryer, and iron.

The accommodation, that is perfect for a couple, will be reserved entirely for you , so you can enjoy your holiday in the utmost privacy and relaxation.

The apartment is 1 minute walk from the pedestrian area of Pigneto which is peppered with lots of restaurants, wine bars, and cafès. Neverthless, its location in a very quiet apartments condo gives you the chance to choose between the lively atmosphere of this dynamic neighbourhood and a quiet evening at home withouth being bothered by the noise of the abuzz nightlife of Pigneto.

The apartment is well connected to Termini Railway Station either by bus or tram (15 minutes). Also, it is very close to San Lorenzo district, another lively neighbourhood which can be easily reached by walking. Besides, it is 15 minutes by bus to the Colosseum, and therefore to city centre. The bus stop is 1 minute walk from the apartment.

Besides (email hidden)ly area during the night, Pigneto has a characteristic vibe during the day as well, thanks to the well-established fruit and vegetable market where old grannies with shopping trolleys mix with young people to buy the freshest produce from friendly vendors. An atmosphere that recalls Pier Paolo Pasolini’s and Roberto Rossellini’s Rome!
Definitely an experience to live!

  • My wife and I spent 5 nights at Sabrina's Apartment in Pigneto and we loved it! The area is quiet and the apartment is very clean, spacious and bright. There were good links to public transport and overall we have no complaints.

Sabrina was a great host. She gave us perfect directions to get to her place. We arrived later than expected because of a delay in the flight and she was very accommodating and helpful. We were given a tour of her flat and made to feel very welcome and at home. She even gave us a tour of the neighbourhood and pointed out some nice spots to check out. When we checked out she was very flexible with our check out time because we had a late flight.

We chose to stay in Pigneto because it is not touristy and it is off the beaten path. If this is your sort of thing then I highly recommend it. It has a hip bohemian vibe to it and the neighbourhood has a good selection of local bars restaurants and is much cheaper than the central touristy area of Rome. We enjoyed all the ancient bits of Rome but it was refreshing to leave the touristy area and come back to a more calm and real world where we could enjoy a glass of wine in the evening among locals.

Pigneto, has a gritty allure to it but all in all the neighbourhood was very friendly and the people were helpful. We don't speak Italian and yet, although not everyone speaks english in the area, overall we didn't have a problem communicating with people.

From the apartment there is an easy access to busses which take you to Termini Station and Colosseo. It took us on average between 30 and 40 mins to get to town (from door to door).

All in all, we had an amazing time in Rome and in Pigneto and we highly recommend Sabrina's Apartment.

  • We loved Sabrina's place! It's exactly as appears on the pics online. A very spacious, clean, charming and confortable apartment on a first floor. It also happens to be in one, for our taste, best neighborhoods in Rome.

Only steps away is the pedestrian area of Via del Pigneto with dozens of wine bars, craft beer bars, family pizzerias, and small restaurants. The are, as of now, is still by and for italians and immigrants. So it has a distinctive character that is far away from the touristy crowds of Travestere or other places closer to downtown.

Transportation is very simple, there are bus and tram stations literally feet away from the apt. There are grocery stores around the block and if you want to walk to the metro it is half a mile away.

Sabrina is wonderful, very fair, very quick to answer to our emails and very helpful.

We couldn't have asked more of our stay in Rome.

  • Sabrina was a wonderful host. She even helped us with the postal service in Rome! The apartment is very spacious and an easy ride to termini and the coliseum. Sabrina was very organized with suggestions, snacks, and anything else we could have asked for!
