Check In
  • We had such a wonderful stay at Tuzy's and Steve's place. They are a kind, responsive, interesting couple and provided the best breakfast ever - whilst taking our baby for a walk every morning so we could relax and enjoy the food. Our room was beautifully furnished and decorated as was the rest of the house. Tuzy and Steve are fantastic hosts / company / cooks / dancers / musicians and we will definitely come back if we get to travel to HHI again. Thank you so much for having us, we will take home great memories!

  • We spent four nights with Steve and Tuzy in their beautiful space on Hilton Head They were so much fun, and provided lots of great ideas for places to see and eat at while there. We felt so much at home, and they were great hosts! Each breakfast was a real treat, and we felt nourished being with them, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our time there was restful and good for our souls! Tuzy's decorating ability and little touches were ever so special. Steve's easy going manner was delightful as well! We highly recommend and hope to see them again in the future!

  • My husband and I just wanted to get away for some biking, healthy eating, and of course, the beach. This place was PERFECT! Many bike trails throughout the area led to not only the beach, but to shopping areas and to some wonderful viewing spots. Tuzy and Steve were very accommodating hosts, the place was very clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were wonderful, and conversations were plentiful and fun. We planned to bike a second day on the beach, which required getting to the beach during low tide, but breakfast and conversations were so good, we decided to just stay put and enjoy...no regrets!

  • We spent a month living here in the lap of peaceful luxury.  We had a warm welcome to a home and hosts that invite one to enjoy life to the fullest.  Tuzy not only has hospitality in her DNA but is a gifted designer. Her exquisite style shows up everywhere.   Steve's infectious joie de vivre brightened each day.   Due to both their efforts, every need is met before one even thinks of it.  They exude thoughtful kindness ---sharing spontaneous meals, providing extra space for us, our food and our belongings, packing a lunch for our trip home,  advice on restaurants, helping with bike repair,  doing anything to add to our enjoyment.  They are very experienced, exuberant and fun hosts.  They showed utmost consideration for our privacy and comfort.   Thank you so much for our premier vacation in midwinter!   Anyone should consider themselves lucky to be a guest here.

    Response from Steve And Tuzy:

Thank you for such a lovely review Catherine! We sure did enjoy having you share our home this winter. You and John added a lot of warmth. I already have the perfect chair for John, so if you all return, it will be here for him!

  • Steve & Tuzy are wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed our time there. They are GREAT cooks too!

  • Steve and Tuzy were wonderful. They were both very gracious hosts with a beautiful home. Staying on Hilton Head island was great and you can't beat a beat breakfast with Steve or late night conversation with Tuzy. This was my first stay through AirBnB and I will certainly be booking rooms again because of this experience.

  • Steve and Tuzi's spacious and artistically decorated home was such a pleasant place from which to enjoy HHI. They are outstanding hosts whose conversation, organic life style, and gourmet breakfasts added hugely to our experience.

Hospitality, Writer, Artist, Whatever Needs to Be Done Specialist and Consultant on Many Subjects
My wife and I practice a holistic and joyful approach to life and health. Tuzy is a hospitality professional, a free lance writer and artist and I am a Whatever Needs to Be Done specialist and Consultant on Many Subjects. We met when she was a Tai Chi instructor and I was in her class. Liked it so well I married the teacher... We have a blended family of seven grown children.. We share a love of laughter, music, humanity, cooking "slow food", nature, conscious living and Santa Fe, New Mexico and hope to relocate there. We have taken a stand and are committed to an obligation to support the small organic farmer and the intrinsic right of all humanity to grow, know and choose their food. We serve no genetically modified (GMO) food and do not buy from big multinational corporations or Big Agriculture businesses if at all possible. All of our cleaners are non chemical except our dishwasher soap (and we are working on that one). All of our bath soap is either organic and/or sulfate free. We are experienced travelers so we know what's important for a great stay. We look forward to hosting or staying with others in the Airbnb community.
