The space

We welcome you to our holiday apartment „The Pomologist“. When designing this spacious apartment we put great effort into combining its classical old-style charm with modern comforts. The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor of a turn-of-the-century tenant house. On a total living-space of 115 m² you will find: 2 bedrooms (a king king-size bed of 160 cm with separate mattresses, each room with a seating area that invites you to relax, bury yourself in a book or enjoy a cup of coffee just for two), a large living room (with a big convertible sofa), 2 bathrooms (each with a toilet and shower, the larger one with a rain shower and bathtub), a large, bright, fully equipped kitchen with seating for 6 people. During the recent renovation of the apartment we put great emphasis to preserve the classical charm of the historical dwelling (sanded floors, stucco, large double doors, soundproofed wooden windows). The furnishing is a mix of modern equipment and traditional elements.
After a busy day in Wroclaw or the surrounding region or on a rainy day you can explore our extensive private library (many books on Wroclaw and Silesia, but also fiction and DVDs/Blu-Rays). Read about the chequered history of this city, discover off-the-track-places or follow famous investigator Eberhard Mock on his crime investigation in the pre-war city (the mentioned literature is available in English). Watch a 3D-movie with the kids on our large flat screen TV or use its (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) function to chat comfortable with the ones who stayed home.
The holiday home is located in the ul. Komuny Paryskiej, a side street with shops for daily necessities (bakery, butchery, organic food store) and a small pizzeria in the building next-door – it is 600 meters to the former city moat (Podwale) and an 18-20 minute walk will take you to the magnificent market square. You will find a bus and tram stop 150 meters from the holiday home. The Centennial Hall (World Heritage Site) with the Zoo and the Jewish Cemetery can also be reached in a good half-hour walk.
We can offer secure underground parking for 5 Euro/day just in 150 m distance from the apartment.

This is a spacious, clean, tastefully furnished apartment in a circa 1905 building. The unit was one of the highlights of our trip. The space, furnishings, books, and washer/dryer made for a great place to hang out in after a full day of sightseeing in scenic Wroclaw. Don't be intimidated by the outside of the building or the neighborhood, which at first glance may look more run down than other parts of the city. But after spending time there you quickly get a feel for the neighborhood, which is a residential area of older pre-war apartment buildings with interesting architecture in varying states of renovation. We could not use Nil's indoor parking space as our rental touring wagon was too large, but street parking by the building turned out to be just fine. We would recommend a visit to Wroclaw and a stay at Nil's place to anyone!

We enjoyed three wonderful days in Wroclaw, not least thanks to Nils' beautiful apartment. Prior consultation with Nils, check-in with Alexandra and checkout by ourselves was reproachless. The apartment is very clean, very spacy, equipped with everything and a lot more you need and situated in a charming, not yet totally renewed area with walking distance to the old city. At the corner you find a 6-23/7 which is very useful. We just can absolutely recommend it! Thanks Nils.

The neighborhood and building entry were rundown but safe and convenient. Very spacious nice apartment and Nils made us welcome and even sent map by text to show my wife a good running path. We walked to old city and everywhere. Enjoyed the visit very much.

Nils was very welcoming, helpful and considerate before and during our stay. The apartment is spacious, and stylishly decorated and furnished. It was a great place to stay for our five-day stay in Wroclaw - comfortable and quiet, and within walking distance of the Rynek and main train station. We would be very happy to stay there again.
