Interaction with Guests
I enjoy providing tips on great locale destinations and restaurants, etc. I like to give the tenants a great deal of space and privacy after the initial check-in.
Clean, safe and relaxed surroundings. Beach chill vibe, lots of yoga and surf and micr-brews...
Bus or rent bikes.
Other Things to Note
There is a two-day minimum stay on weekends. No dogs allowed because I have a dog who is friendly but it's her castle and may not play well with toys, etc.
Located in a residential community, which is typically very quiet...so noise may be an issue after 11 p.m. No smoking inside the studio and preferably minimum smoking, if at all, in the patio. No unapproved overnight guests.
This was our first time using AirBNB. We were taking a road trip up the California coast from south to north and decided to have a stop off at Pismo/Shell Beach. The reservation was on short notice. Stephen was responsive and a good host. We stayed for one night. Besides having a good first experience with AirBNB, the only recommendation would be to invest in a better quality bed. I'd venture to guess that for most, having a good quality sleep experience is of the utmost importance for any stay. Otherwise, the site worked out well and is at a good location near the coast line.
Stephen was very responsive and had great recommendations for places to go nearby. The place was as described and was pretty perfect for a quick trip to Pismo. It is a five minute walk to a fantastic ocean view, but further to get to beaches.
I wish we had time to lounge on the beautiful patio, but alas we did not.
Stephen was great. Communication was quick and easy. He was very quick to get back to us with anything we needed. He made us feel very comfortable. The location was stellar, great studio. We went down to the ocean every evening to watch the sunset. Lots to do in the area - hiking, sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, wine tasting. A fun experience!
The host canceled this reservation 9 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Stephen was a great host and offered good advice on places to visit around the area.
The guest house was as advertised and was a good place to stay for the night on our road trip up the coast. Only issue we had was that the walkway to the private entrance was narrow and we had a little difficulty maneuvering our luggage through the walkway.
Overall a good experience.
This is the first time I have ever used airbnb, so I was a bit nervous pulling up. Steve greeted us right away and was very welcoming. It washed away my anxiety pretty quickly. After we got the tour we didn't see him again. the private entrance was a great.
All in all it was a great experience, cute place, and I fell in love with Jackson. :)
About the Host, Stephen
Easy-going, fun and well-travelled individual who enjoys meeting new people from all walks of life and various interests. Personally into healthy lifestyle, outdoors, music, travel and more. Favorite place is Paris for city life and Annecy, France for a perfect blend...but Shell Beach definitely has its magic and charm.
