About this listing
Perfect combination of luxury accommodations, great location, spectacular views, beach access and privacy.
Stunningly designed 2-story condo in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Panoramic bay and city views and only a 5 minute walk to famous Los Muertos Beach, Blue Chairs or the heart of town. Charming building in Spanish colonial style with red tile roof, lush tropical gardens and pool. You'll find basic toiletries, and a couple of snacks and beverages upon your arrival. Includes twice weekly maid service (for bookings of 1 week or longer). Marble floors, granite counters and custom tropical hardwoods throughout. Cook's kitchen, fully equipped for preparing simple snacks or gourmet meals. (The glass cover on the stove is NOT a cooking surface. Please lift up to cook.) Air conditioning, international Cable, flat screen TV, i-pod dock with CD player, Wi-Fi & local phone calls all provided free of charge. I provide you with a cell phone that you can take around town with you, and for days you may want to relax at home, I've got Apple TV as well as a Blue Ray player with high definition. Main level with living room & dining room, cook's kitchen, (please remember to lift the stove cover before cooking) full marble bath. Invite the outdoors in with disappearing sliding glass doors that fully open to the balcony offering sweeping ocean and city views.
Downstairs consists of a large bedroom with half bath. Sliding glass doors open to a huge 400 square foot (40 sq mt) private terrace with sun lounges, tropical foliage, dining set, plus additional built-in seating for 10. Watch cruise ships sail into the bay in the morning and the nightly fireworks show over the bay. A glass of wine at sunset is very romantic here. A 5-minute walk takes you to popular Los Muertos Beach, Blue Chairs or lively Old Town with excellent restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping and art galleries, charming plazas and the famous Malecon (seaside boardwalk).
A car is not needed here as you can walk to the entire downtown and beach. The condo is located on the side of a hill which is what gives those fabulous views, and though it's only a 5 minute walk to town or beach, you will get a bit of a cardio workout. Anytime you don't feel like walking, however, taxis are literally everywhere and from anywhere in downtown, it's less than $5 to the condo. If you choose to rent a car, the building has private, on-site parking and the access is easy.
About 50 yards from the building's main entrance is a bus stop. For about 50 US cents, you can take a bus down to the Botanical Gardens, Mismaloya (made famous by the filming of Night of the Iguana and by Liz Taylor and Richard Burton's torrid Puerto Vallarta affair) and to Boca de Tomatlan, where you catch the water taxis to the secluded, bohemian beach village of Yelapa.
Multi-week and Monthly discounts available. Please enquire. Maid service is on Tuesdays. For those booking at least 1 week, an additional maid service will be scheduled for Friday or Saturday.
I offer airport transportation for a flat $35 USD pick up only or $50 USD for a round trip. My property manager, Jose Luis, or his assistant, will meet your flight and take you directly to the condo where you will be settled in, oriented and have any questions answered.
For foodies, Puerto Vallarta is second only to Mexico City in cuisine and I know all the best restaurants! Some even offer my guests discounts - please enquire.
And again, the stove. Sorry, but can you tell I've had to replace it several times? :)

Interaction with Guests
As your host, I will coordinate your airport pick up (if selected) and your check in. I have a property manager who assists when I'm out of town. After that, I check in via email just to be sure that everything is ok. Otherwise, I leave you to enjoy your vacation!
Guests will enjoy excellent views plus the fact that they are only a 5 minute walk to beach and the heart of town, yet just enough off the beaten path to enjoy quiet at night.
The condo is walking distance from beach and town, restaurants, art galleries, cafes, plazas, shopping, nightlife and historical sights. There is a public bus stop just a few steps from the condo building's front door. Also, taxis are everywhere and from anywhere in town, it's never more than $5 back to the condo.
THE GLASS COVER ON THE STOVE IS JUST THAT, A COVER. DO NOT COOK ON IT. LIFT IT UP TO COOK ON. Pets may be accepted depending upon size and a pet deposit may be required. In addition to the King size bed in the bedroom, there is a queen pull out in the living room. Honestly, the condo is best for just 2 people, but I've done up to 5 in a pinch. Please don't smoke inside. If you leave the A/C running while you're not in, the maid is instructed to turn it off. The condo interior is approx 750 sq ft plus an upstairs balcony and a large, 400 sq ft downstairs terrace, both with panoramic ocean and city views.
I am enthusiastic, an independent thinker and greet new experiences with joy. Travel, language and culture are my greatest passions, quickly followed by good food, great wine and stimulating conversation. I also enjoy spending time with myself, either staring at a beautiful view, delving into a good book, or turning the music up loud, opening a bottle of wine and cooking all afternoon! I divide my time between Colorado and Mexico, enjoying the differences in experience and lifestyle. I like spending time with people who think for themselves, allow others to be who they are and are grateful for their blessings.
Some of my favorite quotes are:
"Things have a way of turning out best for those who make the best of the way things turn out."
"Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly."
"Opportunities are never lost, they are simply seized by others."
