We had a nice reception at this very well located appartment. Although we had booked two nights we could only stay a day and a half, because we were going to a wedding. However, we were 4 rather than the announced 3 people. Chris handled it very well and was flexible about the solution. The place is clean and has a great bathroom, and the beds are very comfortable. On top of that there is a parking two minutes away in a paralell street, which was for us most convenient. A place to recommend
What an amazing experience! This location was central to everything, literally 5 minute walk to Dam Square and Anne Frank house and 20 minutes to the Museum area. Also lots of great restaurants and shops around here. The supermarket is also super close.
Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Chris, who was speedy with replies and very friendly through messaging. Angelo was there to meet us and was super friendly. This apartment was exactly like the photos, so clean and even had amenities like a hotel, i.e toiletries, tea and coffee. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks again Chris and Angelo!
I highly recommend Chri's apartment ! My friends and I had a fantastic weekend in Amsterdam !! Chris's flat was exactly as described, very clean, comfortable and all set. Angelo was cleaning when we arrived (a bit early) and he proposed us to keep our luggages . very good location in city center and only 10 minutes from the station by walking.
We had a nice time in Amsterdam and Chris and his colleague did everything they could to accommodate us. Every time I had a query Chris would reply straight away, he was very helpful and even allowed us to drop our luggage off early. The flat did look like the photographs and was well equipped. The only downside to our stay was that it was very noisy at night time and every time the upstairs neighbours came in or out it sounded as if somebody was trying to get into Chris' flat. However there are lots of earplugs provided.
I can highly recommend Chris’ apartment in Amsterdam, which is exactly as advertised. It is clean, safe, handy, and Chris has thought of everything. He even provides a variety of electrical adapters for us foreigners as well as extension cords and a large fan. We were warmly greeted by Chris’ associates, Angelo and Maria, who were very helpful in introducing us to the place. We never did get to meet Chris, but I can assure you that he is an excellent communicator, and responded quickly and warmly to every email we sent, both before arrival and after check-in. I wish we had met him because his emails indicate that he is a great guy.
The location is perfect with an easy walk to the train station, even with luggage. It’s also close enough to walk everywhere in the central city.
I noted that others said it was noisy there. Well, let me explain. The apartment is on the ground floor. The entrance is right next to the stairs that go to another apartment, I suppose, upstairs. Because of the proximity of these 2 entrances and the fact that there isn’t much sound-deadening between them, when someone goes upstairs, the noise of their entering and going up the steps is at first disconcerting. They weren’t being noisy; it’s just how it is. Except for that, noise was minimal.
The bedroom is in the back of the apartment and from there I never heard anything. My husband said he heard 3 helicopters going over one night, but I slept soundly in the very comfortable bed and missed even that. Chris had some ear plugs in the bedroom, but we didn’t use them.
If you choose this place to stay, you won’t be disappointed.
Un appartement très bien situé, très bien équipé pour un confort maximal, c'était parfait!
Son collègue nous a accueilli chaleureusement, et nous a donné toutes les instructions nécessaires pour que notre séjour se déroule bien.
Un grand merci!
My friends and I had a fantastic long weekend in Amsterdam, most of all Chris's flat was exactly as described if anything slightly larger than expected, very clean and homely. Angelo met us at the centrally located apartment he was very helpful and pointed out a few places for us to go. Everything was in walking/cycling distance and only 5/10 minutes from the station. If we were to visit amsterdam again, I am sure we would contact Chris to use the apartment again!
