We fell in love with this place, which is even better than what we already expected from the listing, and Rodolfo was always quick to reply to our queries. The house is beautifully decorated, open and airy, with unbelievable views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside, particularly from the charming little study on the second floor. This isn't just a house in the country - for the time you are there, it feels like a home, and we didn't want to leave. There is (almost) everything you need to cook meals, with modern appliances, including a great dishwasher, and the bathrooms had ample modern sinks and shower heads. The beds were comfortable, the house spotless upon arrival and our host, Teresa, most accommodating and helpful. We also appreciated the extra deck chairs around the pool, and the surrounding garden is very private. We would happily make this our regular holiday home.
My wife and I have just completed a delightful stay in Rodolfo's Tuscany Villa. The description and photos in the listing are absolutely accurate - the house is superb.
Pre-trip Rodolfo did a fine job responding to our queries by email almost immediately, and this gave us confidence beforehand that our experience was going to be a positive one, and indeed it was!
The house is rather like an artist's retreat. It has stunning and quintessentially-Tuscany views of the surrounding countryside, beautiful grounds and pool, and the house itself is packed full of books and paintings. The house is huge and is very well equipped.
Teresa the housekeeper and her family do a fantastic job preparing and maintaining the house for guests to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and presentation. They were very warm and welcoming, with lots of laughter and smiles compensating for our lack of Italian language skills.
This stay rounded out our special anniversary Italy tour perfectly. Many thanks to you, Rodolfo and Teresa!
This is a wonderful villa and looks the same as the photos. Its clean, spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. A car is a must as its located in Ascianello, a town next to Montepulciano (around 10 mins drive).
Rodolfo is very responsive which makes the reservation process very smooth and easy. Thanks for having us in your villa!
"Paradise" It was just that! We arrived to find Theresa waiting for us with the key, ready to explain everything we needed to know. The villa was exceptionally clean, with a well equipped kitchen and everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. Theresa encouraged us to contact her if we had any questions. She was very helpful in answering questions about where the market was, where we might see a soccer game - or play one!
The villa and views of the Tuscan countryside are every bit as beautiful as the photos. Rodolfo's villa provided us with a wonderful Tuscan experience that we will remember until we return to Montepulciano.
This lovely Villa is located in a quiet spot and you are only disturbed by the sound of owls and nightingales. The Villa had everything you need to enjoy your stay in this lovely part of Tuscany.
Teresa, the housekeeper, is a delight and very helpful. We got by with her little bit of English and our little bit of Italian.
A car is a must but the main railway lines to Rome, Florence and Siena are not far away.
Rodolfo's villa is beautiful. A luxurious and welcoming home set in amazing ground, with great views across the valley and up to Montepulciano. We had a great week here, enjoyed the pool, the local wine and the 4 kittens. We'l definitely be back.
