It was my first time using Airbnb and now I'm spoiled for life!
Elisa is a most gracious, warm and welcoming host. Her home was absolutely perfect for all my needs (I was in Austin for a week of business). It was the perfect refuge from my busy days . . relaxing and quiet yet so convenient to everything I needed to get to Downtown. I was also so pleased at how very close it is to great restaurants, shops, etc. Everything I needed from a great espresso, to amazing quick food, food mart, nail salon, nice restaurants for business meetings, shopping, was in walking or 5 min. drive distance - and all my business meetings in the heart of Downtown were a short 10-15 min. drive. Some other things to mention . . . .the master bedroom's mattress is SO comfortable, and all the "extras" like linens, kitchenwares, etc. were of good to great quality which made it even more of a nice experience! I really feel that Elisa takes extra effort to make her guests' stay really great. Elisa was also so very attentive and communicative through the entire booking process and throughout my stay.
I really hope to stay at Elisa's wonderful home again!
Adorable house! Never wanted to leave. Clean and spacious with great outside area. Very convenient location to all of Austin. House is an easy and short walk to S. Congress and all that it has to offer. There is also a convenience store right on the street corner which was super convenient for our crew- not to mention the Gordough's doughnut trailer across from the store! House was very clean and had all that we needed, including very comfortable beds! Someone mentioned the train being loud in an earlier review, and while I did hear a train once or twice while we were there, it was by NO means loud enough to be bothersome to us in any way. I cannot imagine needing ear plugs for it either. I heard absolutely no noise from the street corner laundromat as mentioned in an earlier review either. Elisa was a great host and very promptly responded to any question I had leading up to the trip. I have no doubt she would have been readily available had we needed anything during our stay! There are instructions and guide books left by the host for guidance to the house and city. I would love to move to Austin (tomorrow) and rent this house forever! Thanks Elisa!
I was thrilled with my stay at Elisa's family summer home in Austin. It was very conveniently located to everything I needed to explore. The house was very comfortable with plenty of room to accommodate four. The pictures don't do the space justice in square footage depth perception.
House was very clean and location was great. Outstanding value overall.
We stayed in the summer home while recording our album in Austin. It's exactly what we needed - quiet, cozy and functional. We'd definitely stay there again! Thanks so much!

We chose this place because of it's proximity to all that is happening.
It is a cute little place with excellent amenities and though we were worried that our group of varying age would all fit in, it was very comfortable.
Train noises the first day kept waking me up but the provided ear plugs soon took care of that. Beds are very comfortable and heating more than adequate (we were here during winter).
Our stay at the Summer House was lovely. The house was comfortable, clean, well equipped and also close to good restaurants. We walked across the street for Torchy's tacos, healthful food, and yummy hot chocolate.
We would definitely stay there again,

We had a wonderful stay at Elisa's home in Austin. Her two bedroom unit was located just off of West 1st Street within 5 minutes walking time to some great restaurants. We also took a longer walk across the river bridge to the nearby movie theater. Elisa is a gracious hostess and was so very helpful in providing a great AirBnB experience for us. A quiet and restful stay in Austin. Thank you, Elisa.
Overall this is a great place to stay. I stayed for about a month. It is a nice location in Austin, however, it is right behind a dry cleaners. This is the only bad thing about the house. The dry cleaners has a very large exhaust fan which can shake the entire house at times. If you are a light sleeper, this house is not for you. If not, or if you don't mind ear plugs, I would highly recommend it. My interaction w Elisa was quick and professional. The house is wonderfully appointed.
The perfect Austin getaway house! It is walking distance to many great spots, loaded with charm and stocked with goodies to make your stay feel like home! The bath tub is amazing! As is the warmth you gather from the host. Can't wait to return!
