  • Amazing place to stay, I highly recommend Pat and the Hains House. The rooms are decorated nicely, the bath is new with a good shower, and spotlessly clean. We had an amazing breakfast and Pat was most accommodating. If you want a quiet place to stay in a lovely area, in a beautiful old farmhouse that's been lovingly restored - this is your place.

  • Pat is a fantastic host. Her home is very welcoming, clean, comfortable, and in a peaceful location. In the morning, Pat cooked a delicious breakfast, including some freshly baked scones, and it was great to talk to her to learn about Washington and to get some ideas of what to visit in Seattle. We would definitely stay again!

  • My stay with Pat was everything I could have hoped for. Her home was warm, she was great company, I slept amazingly well, and the breakfast she made for me was just what I needed to start my day. Her breakfast was just what I needed to start my day and the to-go box of her homemade scones & banana bread were a wonderful touch. I only wish that I lived closer so that I could take one of her bread baking classes with my husband.

  • It was quite a treat to stay in Pat's charming farmhouse. It was nice and warm (it was wintertime), it was clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. I would stay here again without hesitation. I enjoyed the other guests too. Highly recommended!

  • This country home was so cozy, warm and inviting. It far exceeded our expectations. Even though our host was traveling while we were out, her daughter made sure we were all taken care of. We will definitely be returning if in the area!

  • This was a most delightful, immaculately clean beautiful 4 bedroom house. it is right next to a beautiful state park I remember from childhood, millersylvania. our host was very kind and understanding. we arrived after 11pn and had to leave early, yet everything was laid out for us to enjoy ourselves and have a great breakfast. I felt like I was in a fairy tale where the elves fix everything for you in secret at an enchanted cottage in the forest. my big regret is not meeting this wonderful family personally and learning more about those yummy artisan breads.

  • Loved the farm house stay. Beautiful setting. Quiet surroundings. Great beds. And delicious homemade breakfast that was out of this world. Pat is a lovely and generous host who sent us on our way with a bag of freshly made super-tasty muffins.

  • Pat was an absolutely LOVELY host! She was very accommodating and a joy to converse with. And there are no words to describe her delicious cooking skills :) We will definitely look her back up if we are ever in the Olympia area again.

  • Arrived to the wonderful aroma of baking bread and left the following morning with a bag of fresh baking and after a superb home-produced breakfast. Story-telling, a drop of wine, very comfortable bed and a great fire. Pat is a star and a stay at the Artisan Bread House (including a bread-making course if you wish) is a great vacation experience.

  • Despite our late arrival in rainy weather, we were given a gracious welcome and were so grateful to fall into our lovely room. It was charmingly decorated as was the whole house. In the morning, we awoke to the most amazing breakfast ever. Besides perfectly cooked eggs and bacon, there was a beautiful array of lovely and delicious baked goods. The coffee was excellent as was the conversation with Pat. Highly recommended in every way.
