The Space

This artistically furnished second story 2 BR apartment has everything for a comfortable weekend in downtown's North End of Boise. It is small, concise and comfortable, with great light. We call this the Treehouse, as my daughter and I lived here for 7 years and its private and above everything in the neighborhood.

The location is within 6 blocks of Hyde Park and also just 1/2 mile from downtown Boise. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, this unit is the entire top level of a triplex, and is about 850 square feet. This suite has hardwood floors and great natural light. We are 1/2 mile from the local Boise Coop, and all of Boise's restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. Also, for a cool swim, we are a quick 5 minute drive or a bike ride down to the river.

This suite has great air conditioning, so don't worry about that being an issue with the upstairs in Boise summer! We have a washer and a dryer in the unit, as well. There is a flat screen tv, with basic cable, (email hidden) streamer.

The smaller bedroom is perfect for a child. Currently a double bed is in the suite, and we can easily install two twins for our small guests.

Note: Beware of this space if you are over 6ft tall! We have some lower access headers that don't bother the owner... who is 5 ft!

This unit is available monthly or for longer durations. The pricing is $1700 for May-Oct and $1500 for Nov - May.

  • After an initial snafu with check-in (the host assured us that it was a fluke), we had a wonderful stay. The suites are adorable, with built in kitchens and a lot of space. Our dog friendly room included a little treat for our furry travelers. The neighborhood was wonderful and we had a great stay. Also, laundry was included, which was very helpful at the end of a long road trip.

  • Loved this place. The room was adorable and clean. Convenient and easy check-in. The room had great amenities if you wanted to cook in, but was also a short walk to great restaurants and shops.

  • Everything about this place was seamless and convenient. We were only in Boise one night, but I would love to stay longer. Convenient location for a walk downtown. Clean and accommodating. Small efficient kitchen is great if you would like to have tea or something in your room.

  • This place was perfect. A small apartment right by downtown Boise - so very close to restaurants and shops. The place was pristine and nicely decorated. We had a noisy neighbor above us who walked around in his cowboy boots but other than that I would definitely come here again and would absolutely record to anyone (email hidden) to stay in Boise.

  • The listing and neighborhood was exactly as I expected, and well represented on the website. The room had all the amenities I needed and was done so well - intimate and comfortable but stylish and functional as well.

Eve-Marie was prompt with any responses for questions I had and has a wonderful check-in setup upon arrival.

Looking forward to returning to Boise simply so I can stay again!

  • Due to a mixup in scheduling, AirBnB let us reserve the North End Nest on a date when it was not actually available, but Eve-Marie handled the situation in a truly admirable way - she honored the reservation and offered us to stay in the Boise Guest House (which is more expensive) at the original rate.
The place is run very professionally. Our stay in Boise was great. Highly recommend!

  • I love staying at the Boise Guest House and have done so many times. It is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean, and in the perfect location close to downtown. Charming and so much better than a hotel. Eve-Marie is responsive and friendly (email hidden) -- one time I accidentally left my camping headlamp there and she was very quick to get it back to me. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

  • If you want to enjoy downtown Boise in comfort and privacy, the Boise Guest House (email hidden) to stay. for $89 per night, I had a kitchenette and private bath, flat screen TV and wifi access. The bed was entirely comfortable, the décor charming, and it was beautifully clean when I arrived. I was so close to the State Capitol that I could see the lighted dome at night. I walked to the downtown Farmer's Market and the Art in the Park event. Wonderful stay!

About
Hi! I'm Eve-Marie, the owner of Boise Guest House. I was previously a professional artist and instructor, traveling frequently to teach workshops. I wished I had found places like this; a private kitchen and bathroom, close to a natural grocery store, with simple decor. I love historic buildings, but preferred contemporary appointments. Needless to say, the Boise Guest House is a magnet for creative individuals wanting something different than box hotels. As a family-owned business, I've been involved in every phase of this business. My daughter and I (my assistant, Finola) run the place. We have a hands-off accommodation, built on the premise that you probably like exploring little breakfast cafes and the area arts scene on your own. We also believe in reducing the carbon footprint, and so we don't offer daily housekeeping. Also, you can rent bikes and explore the area - we have 4 beach cruisers! I also snowboard, backcountry ski, hike, camp and mountain bike for fun. I also enjoy Burning Man and other arts & music festivals, as well as independent movies, art and literature. I welcome guests interested in yoga, meditation and all ideas that enhance human consciousness. Come stay at the Boise Guest House, or one our off-site suites at the new Annex! We opened a monthly accommodation at 6th and Sherman summer of 2013 that is now ready for longer 30 day stays.
