  • My father and my stepmother loved Ennio's place! It's cute and very well located. They had a wonderful experience in Roma and Ennio's has been not only welcoming but he really took care of them when my father had a health problem. You've been a friend Ennio! Thank you so much! You represent exactly the reason why I love Airbnb!
See you in Roma or maybe in Paris if you come, I'll be glad to be your host!

  • This b&b is excellently located, in a renovated building in a very central and convenient area in Rome. It is near the Cavour metro station, which makes it easier to go to more distante places, but you can walk to most Rome attractions in less than 15min!
The room and facilities are modern and good quality, and a simple breakfast is served in the room each morning. There is a person who takes care of the facilities during the day, and is very helpful.

  • A very great location besides a romantic piazza in a hip and lively district. The maid is really helpful and tries to make everything as comfortable as possible for you.
You can walk from Termini(Central Station) to the house within 10-15 mins minutes or take the metro one Station. The other parts of the city are in walking distance or easy reachable by metro or tram.
You might think the bathroom could be a bit cleaner, however, besides that, there was nothing to complain about and we would book it again on our next trip to rome.

  • Nine of us stayed for five nights in November. The apartment had 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, and so we were all comfortable. There was no separate sitting area or dining area, but that was only a minor inconvenience. The rooms were very clean, and we had a maid (Tania) who came every day with croissants, coffee, milk, juice, and cereal. She is Ukranian and speaks no English. We never met Ennio and communicated with him only by email. The wifi connection was good.

The apartment overlooks a fountain; the local teenagers party every night past midnight. Bring ear plugs or you won't get much sleep. On the day of our departure, Ennio advised that we owed a city tax of 90 Euros, which was not disclosed before. Ennio arranged for a van to carry the 9 of us and luggage to the airport at 3:30 A.M. on Sunday for 160 Euros, but he had quoted a price of 150 Euros before we got to Rome.

    Response from Ennio:

We want to inform that the guests change one of their personal shower towel that was dirty and flat with one our new; this is a surprice for us and may be we give it like a present, but we would like that they inform us. Normally we both the towells if every guest do the same we have all time to buy new.
we don't like to ask at the guest the credit card details like a guarranty but may be we have to start.

  • I stayed here during a work trip and it was a great experience.
The apartment is located in the heart of Monti, an area that I absolutely love. (That also means that it can be noisy, but that's not problem if you close the windows, they are very well insulated).

The place was clean, comfortable and had a real family atmosphere to it.

I had 100 requests for Ennio as I needed I very detailed invoice for my work. He responded to everything in no time and was a great help overall.

  • GREAT LOCATION - easy walk to so many sights. My son & I stayed a few days in early April and had a great time. He especially loved the cafe below the apartments and the gelateria down the street. Super central, but still feels neighborhood-y as opposed to extremely touristy. The room was bright and airy, not fancy by any stretch of the measure, but very comfortable.

  • An awesome location and a friendly host. A group of 8 of us spent 5 nights here and loved it. The apartment was very clean and the view opened out into this little piazza with a fountain, restaurants and a store with fruits and vegetables. On the other side of the building just downstairs were a coffee bar and an internet cafe which we found extremely convenient. You could literally walk out of the apartment, look down the street and see the coliseum a block away. Great stay, highly recommended.

  • A great home stay in a great location. Close to all the key sites of rome. Prior check in details and logistics could have been better although Ennio offered to organise a taxi too which we gratefully accepted.

  • I can't say enough how helpful a host Ennio was! My friend was having trouble with a package she was trying to send from Rome, and he spent almost an hour with her, helping her scan, fax, and email the appropriate documents, and at the end of it all gave us a great bottle of wine to celebrate our last night in Rome! He also arranged a taxi for us to get to the airport in the morning, at a really good price.

As for the room, it was all new, spacious, with a great bathroom, and the most comfortable beds we have had so far on the trip. The location is great, in the Monti neighborhood, which is a hidden gem in Rome - cute nighborhood with lots of great restaurants and nightlife as well as beautiful piazzas, a short walk from the forum. Sub Urbe is located just a couple blocks from the Cavour metro stop, so it is easy to get to even with a suitcase as big as mine! They are just finishing an elevator in the building, which is nice because Sub Urbe is on the 3rd floor.

I will definitely come back for stays in Rome. Great Value and location, great host!

Hi this is Ennio. This is the seventh years that I work with my b&b. I'm very luky to have this job because give me the opportunity to meat a lot of people from every part of the world. I spend some time to speak with my guest and in some case I can say to find a new friends. I hope that you apologise me for my english but I can tell you that I learn it just talking and writing with you. I have a beautifull family, maybe not the vey italian typical family: wife, three children, Michele 12 years old, Benedetta 10 years old, Pietro 4 years old and three dogs. They are a very important part of my family and life. I took my dog from the street and from the dog pound. in some case they had not a very nice story, but now when they sleep on the sofa seem to forget their sad story. Dogs for ever in my life. No dogs no party. I forget to inform you that I have a fascinating hobby: Bonsai. this is also a big love. thanks to read me ennio
