Popular question:
★How far is your place from the city center?
★There are 3 modern city centers in Bangkok: Silom/Sala Daeng (Si Lom MRT), Siam Square and Asok (Sukhumvit MRT) – this house is close to all of them. If you locate each of the three centers on the map and visually connect them – you will easily notice that Bangkok’s gem - Lumpini Park is the center of all Bangkok – and we are 900 meters from it. If you want to find the location on the map please search Sanctuary House Bangkok or by address 34, Soi Sribumpen, Bangkok, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, 10120. The closest subway station is MRT Lumphini (dark blue line), next to the park , so 800-900 meters from the house (8-12 min walk or 1 min motorcycle ride for the adventurous). The MRT is useful for trips to and from the airports, Hua Lamphong train stations, Chinatown, Terminal 21, Chatuchak Weekend market, etc. The building is in an old town-house/shop-house in a residential area and it is the most traditional Bangkok neighborhood that is close to the city center.

In 2011, I moved to Thailand, drawn by its vibrant culture and freedom, especially as a non-binary person. My love for architecture led me to start a homestay, which I ran until 2017. Embracing Airbnb in 2012, I adapted as it evolved. By 2022, exploring new cultures led me to Kayin culture. After a viral TikTok, I immersed myself in it. Now, my team includes seven Karen national members, and I'm growing alongside them.
