A Perfect Little Taste of Soho

Apartment - Private room · Thompson St, New York, NY 10012, United States

A small room in my cozy renovated Soho walkup. The apartment features a washer dryer and stainless steel appliances, Poland Spring water cooler, Wifi, basic cable and other amenities. On a quiet street in Soho across from the 60 Thompson hotel and close to everything Soho has to offer. Surrounded by shopping, restaurants, parks, nightlife and some of the best neighborhoods in NYC. The apartment is close to a few Subway stations, with the closest being 1.5 blocks away.

The apartment is a wing two bedroom with a kitchen and bathroom that we will share. My boyfriend, who is a model and high school football coach, and I share the other bedroom. We both lead active lives and have varying schedule so are rarely home together though you will of course meet us. Our interaction with you during your stay can be as little or as much as you'd like. We are great hosts and love getting out and enjoying all that NYC has to offer.

I work with a company that manages some of the best restaurants in Soho and can get you a reservation at all of them and even others! We enjoy dining out and think that it is a big part of living in NYC. We can give you many recommendations for dining, must see events and most anything else.

Our home is very quiet and relaxing. You come home and you forget the hustle and bustle outside instantly. Whether you'd rather curl up and enjoy a book, watch TV, listen to music, surf the internet, order takeout 24hrs or simply only sleep, this is a great place to do all the above.

  • Kk was very hospitable and basically let me have free reign of what I required. She was never intrusive and allowed myself the freedom to come and go as I pleased. The location allowed easy access to everything I required as well. I would definitely recommend to any only travellers going to New York.

  • Really nice neighborhood and close to a subway station. The location is really perfect. The room is small but clean, comfortable and was just what I needed on my trip to NYC. Just the heating was a bit too much and I had to sleep with the window open. I saw Kk very little but she was prompt in returning any communication and very friendly (even opened a nice bottle of Italian wine for me) I recommend it. Thank you Kk.

  • Excellent setup for the solo traveler: comfortable, clean, and surprisingly quiet given the location. The apartment is located a few blocks' walk from several different subway lines, so the rest of the city is easily accessible; the surrounding neighborhood is great to walk around and has lots to see. Highly recommended.

  • This apartment is perfect for the solo traveler visiting NYC. It's located on a nice quiet street in the heart of SoHo. Everything you need is within walking distance.

The apartment was so clean and tidy. The room was not big but it was comfortable and had plenty of room to store your stuff. KK even left towels on the bed. It did get a bit warm but I just opened the window a little more and that cooled it down.

I never met KK, but every time I messaged her she got back with me quickly. I highly recommend this apartment and KK as host. I didn't want to leave and I can't wait to go back.

  • Neighborhood is great and happened to be very convenient to my office. Kk was great, friendly and accommodating. It was a great experience.

  • Kk is great! One of the best hosts I've stayed with, she made sure I had everything I need, was super friendly, and even tidied up the room when I was roaming around town. Her apartment is in a great part of Soho, a stone's throw from tons of bars/restaurants/stores. Despite being in the heart of everything the bedroom gets relatively little street noise (a rarity in manhattan!) so I slept well. Thanks for a great stay!

  • My first time in New York and my first experience with an AirBnB stay. Although I only got to see KK for a few minutes as I was about to leave, she couldn't be nicer and the apartment was just as described and SO clean! Perfect location with so many shops and restaurants around and convenient to the subway. Oh...and the world famous "cronuts" are at the bakery just around the corner. Thank you KK for your hospitality and a great first experience in NY and with AirBnB. Would definitely stay again.

  • My stay at Kk's apt was great, the room was cute and she left clean towels on the bed for me. I did not actually meet Kk, but she was available to answer questions via text and responded within two minutes each time. (Mainly I was just letting her know my schedule so I wouldn't surprise her!) Cute, clean apartment with single bed that I'd recommend to a solo traveler who wants a clutch location in NYC!

About
I live and work in Soho on a nice quiet block, one block away from all that Soho has to offer. Surrounded by great restaurants, shopping and even nightlife. I work with a hospitality management company that manages a few restaurants in Soho, Tribeca and the West Village. So I'll have many recommendations for you and can get you reservations of some of the best restaurants in the city. I love the fact that NYC has so much to offer and I try to take as much advantage as I possibly can. My boyfriend and I sometimes go on long bike rides in Manhattan or over the Brooklyn Bridge just to enjoy the amazing views, neighborhoods and people that are NY.
