About this listing
A small room in my cozy renovated Soho walkup. The apartment features a washer dryer and stainless steel appliances, Poland Spring water cooler, Wifi, basic cable and other amenities. On a quiet street in Soho across from the 60 Thompson hotel and close to everything Soho has to offer. Surrounded by shopping, restaurants, parks, nightlife and some of the best neighborhoods in NYC. The apartment is close to a few Subway stations, with the closest being 1.5 blocks away.
The apartment is a wing two bedroom with a kitchen and bathroom that we will share. interaction with you during your stay can be as little or as much as you'd like. We are great hosts and love getting out and enjoying all that NYC has to offer.
I work with a company that manages some of the best restaurants in Soho and can get you a reservation at all of them and even others! We enjoy dining out and think that it is a big part of living in NYC. We can give you many recommendations for dining, must see events and most anything else.
Our home is very quiet and relaxing. You come home and you forget the hustle and bustle outside instantly. Whether you'd rather curl up and enjoy a book, watch TV, listen to music, surf the internet, order takeout 24hrs or simply only sleep, this is a great place to do all the above.
Your bookshelf to put up any personal items you like to travel with. Eg. photo of family or pets, makeup etc.
We keep all common areas clean i.e. kitchen and bathroom. We will work out morning bathroom schedules so that no one is ever inconvenienced. We are very quiet, clean and approachable. We expect the same. As the apartment is small, we keep cooking to a minimum and try to cook only mutually agreeable items.
I had a fantastic experience staying with KK. The location is unbeatable, and everything you would need on a trip to this potentially overwhelming city is no more than a few blocks away. There is a grocery store conveniently located just two blocks north if you need to do any light shopping. The trains are all within a quarter mile which makes transit a breeze. KK keeps her place extremely clean and gives off a very cozy vibe. I loved my stay in NY and I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!
Kk's place was perfect. A true airbnb gem. The location was fantastic and k was so welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay again. Thanks K!
I had a lovely time in Kk's. The hostess was very accommodating and quite pleasant to deal with. The apartment is clean and cosy, would only suit a single traveller or a really small couple. Location is excellent. I'd be happy to return here, many thanks.
I had a really nice stay at A perfect little taste of soho! Really nice with aircondition in the summer. Super location close to restaurants, shops and metro. Kk was very nice and helpful :)
I had a very good stay at Kk's place and really can recommend it! The room is very calm (backyard), Kk was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was not hyper clean (so 40$ for the cleaning seems too much for me), but more than ok! I would book this room again any time: I loved the neighborhood in Soho with all the fantastic restaurants and cinemas around the block, Maeatpacking and East Village withing walking distance. You can switch off the A/C, the TV would not be necessary for me.
Kk was very acomodating, she helped me to organize my days in nyc and she allowed me to,keep my luggage for some hours till my shuttle came for me. The apartment is very nice and its in a wonderful area which is Soho, with plenty of things to do nearby.
About the Host, Kk
I live and work in Soho on a nice quiet block, one block away from all that Soho has to offer. Surrounded by great restaurants, shopping and even nightlife. I work with a hospitality management company that manages a few restaurants in Soho, Tribeca and the West Village. So I'll have many recommendations for you and can get you reservations of some of the best restaurants in the city.
I love the fact that NYC has so much to offer and I try to take as much advantage as I possibly can. I sometimes go on long bike rides in Manhattan or over the Brooklyn Bridge just to enjoy the amazing views, neighborhoods and people that are NY.
