Brand new built private house in a quiet and beautiful surrounding. With a view to Hekla volcano, nature and wild life!
3 Bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms & a private jacuzzi on the veranda. The showers have a waterfall shower head.
All utilities are new and the kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. The living room is warm and cozy with a fire place (we'll give you instructions).

The space
Bedroom 1: has a 140 cm bed, suitable for two persons if they share a bed. There is a wardrobe in the bedroom. There is also a table, computer screen and a printer for your use.
Bedroom 2: has two 90 cm beds (180 cm), suitable for two persons, can be separated if they don´t share the bed. There is a wardrobe in the bedroom.
Bedroom 3: has one big high-quality electrician bed, two 90 cm beds, suitable for two persons and can´t be separated, a big wardrobe with a mirror, and a nice bathroom.
A baby crib and a high chair for young children are available if needed, just let us know in advance if you need them.
Bathroom 1 is in the common area, near the entrance. The floor heating is nice and the shower has a waterfall shower head.
Bathroom 2 is in the area of Bedroom 3. The floor heating is nice and the shower has a waterfall shower head and exit to the Jacuzzi area.
The Living room has one sofa and two comfortable chairs (Wizar) that you can lie in. The sofa is a sleeping sofa for one adult or two kids. If you need to use the sleeping sofa, then the duvets and pillows are stored in the closet in the Laundry room. Please let us know in advance if you will use the sleeping sofa, then we can prepare it for you. You will have a video on how to change it to sofabed.
The Dining table in the Living room is expandable. Usually, 6 to 8 persons can sit by the table, but 10 to 12 can join the table when expanded. Just let us know if you like to have it expanded before you arrive.
There is a Fireplace that you can use to enjoy your stay at the house. Please read the instruction before using the fireplace. Please read the instructions, and you can see the video on how to open and close the instrument.
A giant TV screen, a Soundbar, and an Apple TV are in the Living room. Please see the video and instructions to use it.
The Kitchen has quality utilities, like a double refrigerator with a freezer and cold water and ice cube machine. There is a quality Span stove, a Baking oven, a Duo Oven (that´s a Micro and a Grill Oven), and a coffee machine that grounds the beans.
The barbeque Please feel free to use the barbeque, but ALWAYS close the gas tab on the gas cylender, after each use.
The Laundry room has one washing machine and one dryer and a washing rack.
The Garage has a snooker board with four play sticks and a Dartboard.
The number of persons is 5 – 7 (depending on if people share beds), who can sleep in the Country House at Fögruvellir.
The Jacuzzi:
You are welcome to use the Jacuzzi. Please shower before entering the Jacuzzi. It has had the same water for some time because it's an electricity Jacuzzi. We regularly put chlorine tablets and a liquid to make sure it has the proper pH balance, but this helps keep it in good shape. There is often very much wind in this area, that's why both covers must be on after usage. There is a Bluetooth speaker, and the code is on the label.
Just for your info: We also have another house on the land, Fögruvallakot, that can host 4-5 people if you need more rooms. That house is less expensive and also has a Jacuzzi.

The keys are in a lock box. Code is sent to you 2 days prior arrival.
About the House:
It is best to have all doors always closed when you are at the house, because you are in the countryside and when it is getting cold, some mice would like to jump in, so be aware. You can open the windows instead. During the night, it's best to lock the doors.
If you need to have a baby crib and a high chair, just let us know before you arrive.
