We had a great stay. The Cabin exceeded our expectations and was a comfortable, well equipped home-base for all of our outdoor adventures. The deck space and hot tub were great bonuses. It's located in a very scenic location, with access to a lot of great outdoor spots. We primarily spent time in Yellowstone. Yes, it's a little bit of a ride, but very easy, straight shot, with a lot to see on the way in. I would highly recommend this spot for families, a couple or a groups. We did not take advantage of the dining option. That is a convenient option, if you didn't want to cook at the cabin or travel out. I did find it odd that they weren't open for early breakfast, but I guess that must be based on demand. There are plenty of other options nearby.
We had a fantastic time at The Pines at Island Park. We were a party of two that stayed in a cabin for three nights while we explored Yellowstone and surrounding area. Dana provided helpful directions on how to find The Pines before our stay. The cabin was exactly as described and had everything we needed. We stopped at a supermarket en route and cooked each night in the cabin.
Will recommend to others visiting Yellowstone.
Lovely place and beautiful surrounds. Everything was as described. A little bit of a drive from the Yellowstone entrance but if you're looking for peace and quiet this is the perfect retreat.
Our host Dana called us to know our whereabouts before arrival, which was nice.
Rick was very helpful in accommodating us and giving us directions.
Everything was great. Beautiful area and beautiful cabin. The cleanliness was impeccable. Very comfortable.
The cabin in a lovely wooded setting was truly awesome. Spacious, beautiful, very clean. Very well equipped kitchen. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Rick greeted us graciously even though we arrived quite late, and gave us a great recommendation for a nearby place for breakfast. Would return in a heartbeat.
