Located at the end of a cul-de-sac on a quite city street, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath home includes a large screen HDTV, expanded Cable service, wireless Internet access, fully equipped eat-in kitchen that comfortably seats 8, including a Nespresso Lattissima Plus one-touch cappuccino/latte/espresso machine (in addition to a standard drip coffee maker), washer and dryer, front porch, back yard, barbeque grill, and much more.
Bedroom #1 has 1 queen-sized bed. Bedroom #2 is currently setup with 2 full-sized beds. For larger groups we can setup the office with a 4th bed (real twin bed or queen air mattress).
The picture of the Kansas City skyline included among those above was taken from the front porch. The picture doesn't do justice to the beauty of the view you actually get. The way the sunsets light up the skyscrapers downtown can be breathtaking.
Located in the heart of everything that's exciting in Kansas City: just a 5 minute drive to downtown Kansas City, Missouri where you'll find the Power and Light District, the Sprint Center, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, the Kansas City Convention Center; 5 minutes to the Crossroads Arts District; 10 minutes to WestPort; 15 minutes to the Plaza; 15 minutes to Village West where you'll find the Kansas Speedway, Cabelas, the new Hollywood Casino, Livestrong Sporting Park and loads more; 20 minutes to Arrowhead Stadium; and 30 minutes to the KCI Airport.
Guests are encouraged to treat the home like their own. Help yourself to food, beverages, laundry soap, toiletries, and other consumables that are on hand at no additional charge.
No Smoking in the house. If smoking outside the house, cigarette butts should be managed responsibly.
Pets are allowed. If bringing a pet please advise Host if you have not done so already. An additional pet rent fee ($10/day, $50/wk) will be charged for each pet.
Subletting is not allowed, that is, the person booking this property is actually (among those) staying here.
For any property loss or damages except from normal wear & tear and that which can be reasonably argued to be outside Guests’ control (such as from acts of nature), Guests or Guests’ insurer (if any) are obligated to pay replacement and repair costs plus a reasonable property management fee (commensurate with the time and effort involved) of not less than forty dollars ($40). Additionally, Guests who leave the property “trashed” (requiring more than 4 man-hours cleaning) are obligated to pay the entire cost of post check-out cleaning.
Liability Waiver: To the full extent allowed by law, Guests will not hold the Host or Host’s insurers liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by the Guests or their visitors while on or in any way connected with the property. Travel insurance is recommended for cautious travelers.
All laws and local ordinances, including noise related ordinances must be observed while on the premises.
Max Occupancy: No more than eight people are allowed on the premises at any one time without Host's prior written approval. By all means though, if you're planning a get-together with more than eight people don't hesitate to ask for approval.
All Guests must be open to the distinct possibility of having an amazing time while on the premises ;-)
