We had a wonderful two weeks in Andrea's apartment on the beach. Wonderful mornings on the balcony in the sun, down the stairs and on to an empty beach for a swim or a run, afternoons on the roof terrace with a panoramic view and general calm were highlights of our stay.
True to Andrea's general description there are trains running right behind the apartment, but no so during the night.
Andrea was very attentive and accessible during our entire stay.
We had a very nice week right at the beach in Andreas appartement which provides everything for a relaxing stay on sicily.
The view at the sea in the morning with the first coffee in your hand was simply amzing and my understanding of vacation.
Andrea and his buddy Dino who gave us a nice and warm welcome, were quit cooperatively.
The furniture is simple but useful and you won't miss anything.
My personal recommondation to prolong the summer!
We've spent a lovely week at Andrea's apartment. The location is simply the best - right on a quiet beach, surrounded by picturesque hills and at the same time very close to all of the sights of north-east Sicily. The only disadvantage is the railroad, but it is not very annoying since really noisy trains pass not very often.
The apartment itself is spacious enough for three guests and the terraces are just super. As it was mentioned in one of previous reviews, the apartment can not boast of brand new furniture, but for us it was cosy and there always was everything we need and even more.
Andrea was very attentive, helpful and always responded immediately, so we've checked in and spent our time with no trouble. Many thanks for letting us stay until the late afternoon in the day of our departure - an additional priceless day on the beach!
I recommend and hope to visit again.
We really enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was nice, it is well located but you need a car to go to Taormina and other places near by. The best thing was the beach, it is quite private only people from the Building go there, and water temperature is amazing!! Andrea was really nice, we did not meet, but always answered very quickly, and he was always really friendly. Checking in and checking out were very easy. They have air conditioning in the bedroom which is very important. Tough the apartment is not very luxurious, it has the things that you need. The internet was not working when we arrived, but we were compensated because of that. I would go there again and recommend it.
great place, beautiful view - amazing stay!!!!
although one has to mention that it's quiet noisy due to train railways that are really close. furthermore it's not the newst place, wasn't 100 % clean and not easy to find.
BUT it was still SOOO worth going...one just falls in love with the terraces, sorroundings, sound of the sea, cozy balcony, (almost) private beach.
the family was really nice - andrea and his mum were helpful at any given point!! great recommendations prepared for the guest. lovely place and worth a stay.
i can definitely recommend it!!
E' stato un soggiorno veramente positivo, l'appartamento è ideale per chi desidera la spiaggia sotto casa, e che voglia godersi i suoni e le viste del mare . I proprietari molto disponibili e cordiali, davvero un'esperienza ottima.
To start, the place is truly amazing ! The garden is absolutely beautiful, the pool is really charming and the house is pretty cosy. This is really the true Tuscany experience. You are lost in Tuscan beautifful landscape but only 5 minutes from Monticchiello. It is (and I really don't know why) not to hot in summer, it is just perfect !
My only commentary would be that you have to share the pool (but it's the deal in the beginning) and that you don't have the full view from the house garden. The pillow and the pool beds could be changed also. But I Highly recommend this place and Andrea is really helpful.
I hope that we will be back sometime !
This place is amazing and was exactly what was promised. Andrea is an excellent host, helpful and reliable.
We would come back any time. Thank you
Staying in the beach house of Andrea was amazing! The house is directly to the beach, so we started every morning with a swim. The beach is not private however, but not crowded. Close to the house are lots of nice things to see and do such as Etna, Gole Alcantare, Taormina and all the other small beach towns.
Extremely welcome was the airconditioning in the bedroom. The kitchen was a bit small however (and there was no oven which comes in handy for some Italian dishes). We bought a BBQ, so probably that is still at the house. BBQ'ing on the roof terrace is a must!!
Finding the house was a little bit difficult. It is the first gate on the right (if coming from Letojanni) after the second camping. That is NOT camping Paradise, but the other one.
Everybody else who is going to stay at this place, I am sure you will have an extremely relaxed time chilling in this beach house! We sure did!
