    Response from Margaret:

Thanks Gerrie! Parking in the winter with a slate roof that holds the snow then drops it heavily whenever it is inclined can be a problem. You and 14 inches of snow arrived the same day. Any other time we share the driveway with guests without a problem, Hope to see you again in warmer season!

  • I had a wonderful time at the guesthouse. It felt like being home away from home. The place was very clean and cozy. It had everything I needed while staying there for a whole month. Margaret has been very friendly and accommodating. The place is located within a walking distance to many great restaurants and parks. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

  • Stayed in the guesthouse with my boyfriend for 2 nights to see the Farm Aid concert and we both loved it! The place was immaculate, homey, and had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect, very close to downtown, the race track and the Performing Arts Center where the show was. Margaret and Jim were great hosts, gave prompt responses and even left us a gift bag along with information on the area which came in handy! I would highly recommend staying here!

  • This Saratoga Springs guesthouse is modern and clean with all the necessities for a prolonged stay. Since there is only 1 double bed, it is best suited for 1person or a couple.
The guesthouse is in a quiet neighborhood close to the downtown area. The hosts are most gracious and considerate.
I can recommend this rental wholeheartedly.

  • Stayed with my daughter for 3 nights during high season and we couldn't have been more comfortable or felt more at home. The apartment was private and immaculately clean. What a surprise to look out the back window and see a beautiful flower and vegetable garden with a hammock tucked away in the corner. Margaret graciously offered for us to help ourselves to veggies and overall was a relaxed and accommodating hostess. It was a perfect place to stay. Looking forward to staying again and would definitely recommend to anyone considering!

  • The guest house was exactly as described and met our needs perfectly. It was recently updated, well maintained, clean, quiet, comfortable, had modern appliances and was in a nice neighborhood that was convenient to downtown, the racetrack and other destinations. The local pub (named the Local) across the street proved to be a fun place to enjoy a drink and a casual meal. Margaret and Jim were great hosts, made us feel very welcome and were helpful and proactive in communicating with us and taking care of our needs, without imposing. The central air conditioning was a big plus on the few hot and humid days we encountered. The only negative was that the double bed felt a little cramped in comparison to the California King size bed we have at home. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much, will definitely return in the future, and would highly recommend it to others.

  • The quaint guesthouse is wonderful. Margaret was a very friendly host and prompt in communication. The place itself was very clean, had many amenities, and was in a great location. Walking to downtown was easy. I would stay here again no problem.
