About This Listing
Little studio in the old-fashioned Paris, in one of the finest districts and near the center of the city. Ideal for a single visitor or a couple who wants to fully enjoy what Paris has to offer.
Studio in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, down the Rue Mouffetard. Family neighborhood, famous for its restaurants, bakeries, shopping streets, cobbled alleys, the Paris mosque and plants garden.
The studio is very easily accessible through public transports from every train station and airport of Paris.
The Luxembourg Park is 10 minutes walk away. It takes 5 minutes to get to the metro (subway) so that you can reach the very center of Paris in 10 minutes. You can also get to the underground within 10 minutes, which is direct to both airports (Charles de Gaulle & Orly).
If you come by train, it is also really easy : the 5 main train stations are direct by bus, metro or RER.
The studio is quite small (13 square meters) yet very functional and contains all the elements in one room : a shower, a kitchen, a sink, a table, a sofa bed...
Caution : toilets are in the hallway / corridor, but they are private (you'll have a key).
The studio is on the 1st floor, so you don't have to take any elevator or stairs.
Ideal for a single person or a couple for a short stay in Paris (1 week end, 1 or 2 weeks).
Internet access for free.
Check-in / check-out : I try to welcome personally each and everyone of my guests, and the times of arrival and departures can be quite flexible, as long as I don't have professional commitments. If I can't be there, a friend of mine can help.
My guests are completely independent in the studio, and therefore they have access to everything it contains (furnitures and equipments, but also books, DVDs, etc.)
Interaction with Guests
I am of course available to help my guests if they have any question during their stay.
The 5th arrondissement is a real delight for every Paris-lover. Below every old building there are restaurants, bars, cafés and bakeries where you can enjoy the fantastic french cuisine.
It's very easy to access to the apartment with the overground (RER B, Port-Royal station), the subway (Metro's line 7, between Censier-Daubenton and Les Gobelins stops) or buses (numb(phone number hidden)...). You can access the apartment straight from every airport or train station in Paris.
Other Things to Note
Please read carefully the description, it contains all the information you need !
I wanted to create a warm and comfortable environment for my guests, therefore I put a little bookcase, DVDs, and also photographies and paintings on the walls. My guests are welcome to use any of these, as long as they don't damage anything...!
We had a lovely time at Bartholome's place. He was there to great us when we came even tho it was late at night, we got a quick tour of the place and then he left us to enjoy our vacation, didn't experience any issues and we just dropped of the keys in the mailbox when we left. The apartment have everything u need to a vacation to Paris. Highly recommendable.
The place is located really good, it's on a quiet street but in the same time it's close to the lively and facinating part of Quater latin. Also it's easy to get from the CdG airport.
I lived there alone and it was enough space for me in the studio. Also there were all necessary things.
I enjoyed my stay at Bartholomé's place.
Bartholomé is a very nice host, and he has done a great effort to meet me when I came even though I arrived very late at night. Communication with him was just great. My baggage was delayed and he very kindly suggested to help with the situation.
The apartment is very small as stated in the description, but as a single traveler it was no problem for me. I wouldn't even mind the outside toilet had I not been sick for most of my staying and therefore had to stay at the apartment more time than intended.
After all it was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend staying at Bartholomé's apartment.
