Charming apartment in the cool and nice area of Vesterbro ten minuts walk frem central Copenhagen. I rent out my very nice bed room and we share the rest during the day.
New and functional kitchen , bathroom with shower, retro styled living room with big couch, tv, dvd and dining corner. The bright bedroom has a double bed, but it is possible to sleep on an extra matress for a third visitor (note that the matress is thin but ok to sleep on).
The apartment is close to bus stop, only 5 minuts walk to the nearest S-train, and 10 min walk from the center of Copenhagen.
The area, Vesterbro, is young, hip, open and has a lot of shops, galleries and restaurants. When the sun i shining lots of youngsters hang out on the grass at Sønder Boulevard 50 metres from the apartment.
You will find the main streets in this area called Istedgade and Vesterbrogade wich starts 100 meters away. On these streets a lot of stores, bars, restaurants and events are placed.
In the area you will for example find the City Museum of Copenhagen, and the nice park called Frederiksberg Garden.
If you want to discover the creative side of Copenhagen, Vesterbro is the place to be.
I can guide you to lots of different sights and places in the city - just ask!!
I spent a week in beautiful Copenhagen and I can not say anything bad about this apartment and my hostess Katrine. Actually, all I can is that I highly recommend this place. It is situated in a nice neighborhood, near the old town and the main train station (and airport). The apartment is very cool and Katrine was a fantastic hostess. In fact, I used almost all the time, and without limitation to the apartment because Katrine rarely crossed me (giving me more freedom, something I wanted) but always maintaining communication and friendliness. If you go to copenhagen, is an excellent apartment to consider.
We had a wonderful stay!! Great room, lovely furniture, very clean and at a great location in trendy Vesterbro.
Katrine was very polite, easy to communicate with, considerate and I can recommend her apartment to any Airbnb guest :)
Wonderfull appartement, in a very hip Area.
Katrine gave us some very good advices to visit the Other Copenhague.
We really enjoyed our stay in your cosy place, great bedroom with a lot of charm (Danish Design).
Furthermore, Katrine was really helpfull with everything, and she cooked us DAnish biscuits so good.
A place to go
Thanks a million
Great city, we hardly saw Katrine but all was good. Bed was comfy
Nice flat, nice room and nice location including a very friendly host.
Katrine was a great host. She was able to accommodate our late arrival time and let us keep our bags at the flat until we flew out. Myself and my partner stayed for 3 nights and felt comfortable. The house was clean and a good location (near Metro and 15 min walk to City Center). Would recommend.
We've been staying in Katrine's apartment during our short 4 days holiday visit to Copenhagen and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was neat, clean, and had a nice big comfortable bed, and we had full access to the kitchen and the shower/restroom, along with the living room when Katrine was out (which happened 90% of our stay). The rules for sharing common spaces were not clearly communicated, so we didn't know whether we could put our stuff in the wardrobe (which looked tightly packed already), but it all worked out well. Katrine was very helpful and, while our days were full with events and places to visit, still managed to suggest something new and pleasantly unexpected (and her English is excellent). A set of maps and some nice books about Denmark and Danes in English were also provided. There is a wireless in the room with enough bandwidth to watch Netflix, get up-to-date on Copenhagen events, download maps, buy tickets and so on. While it was quite cold outside, the apartment was warm and cozy. There is a nice view to the courtyard and yes, there are blinds on the windows :-)
The location is about 10-15 minutes walk from the central train station (which is in a very close proximity to other tourist attractions, like Tivoli or Town Hall square), although some streets near the central station were full of adult shops and "gentlemen's" clubs they could be easily avoided. There are also some nice venues in a 5 minutes walking range from the apartment.
Ultimately, we can recommend Copenhagen as a place to spend some good time and Katrine's place to stay while you are there!
Katrine was very accommodating and helpful by preparing me with plenty of local guide books. The room is spacious and clean. It is conveniently located near to metro and with only 15-min walk to Central Station. Most of the tourist places like Tivoli, Stroget etc are within walking distance, I didn't spend a dime on the public transport during my 2 nights stay. I would definitely recommend her place for any airbnb users.
The room is very spacious and the appartment looks very nice. It's located centrally in Copenhagen, only one stop with the S-train to central station, in a nice neighbourhood. Only a few minutes from the S-train station and to a bike rental! Katrine is available if you need any information, but if you want to do your own thing (as I did) it's ok as well! Conclusion: good place to stay for a few days Copenhagen!
We stayed in Kathryn's apartment at the end of August. It was nice place, very close to the Copenghagen center. Kathryn met us friendly and everything went well. We enjoyed our stay in Kathryn's apartment.
