Charming apartment in the cool and nice area of Vesterbro ten minuts walk frem central Copenhagen. I rent out my very nice bed room and we share the rest during the day.
New and functional kitchen , bathroom with shower, retro styled living room with big couch, tv, dvd and dining corner. The bright bedroom has a double bed, but it is possible to sleep on an extra matress for a third visitor (note that the matress is thin but ok to sleep on).
The apartment is close to bus stop, only 5 minuts walk to the nearest S-train, and 10 min walk from the center of Copenhagen.
The area, Vesterbro, is young, hip, open and has a lot of shops, galleries and restaurants. When the sun i shining lots of youngsters hang out on the grass at Sønder Boulevard 50 metres from the apartment.
You will find the main streets in this area called Istedgade and Vesterbrogade wich starts 100 meters away. On these streets a lot of stores, bars, restaurants and events are placed.
In the area you will for example find the City Museum of Copenhagen, and the nice park called Frederiksberg Garden.
If you want to discover the creative side of Copenhagen, Vesterbro is the place to be.
I can guide you to lots of different sights and places in the city - just ask!!

The nearest s-train is Dybbølsbro station - 5 min walk from the apartment.
Nearest bus is 1A and it's the perfect bus for sight seeing. The bus passes a bit of all the nice things that Copenhagen has to offer.
There is plenty of street parking close to the apartment, but it's expensive. A bit further away parking is free. Ask for mere information.
Arrival from the Airport
Car or taxi service is the most expensive option but will take you directly to the door.
By public transportation, from the airport, you can take the metro to Nørreport station. Change to one of the red s-trains trains H, A, B, C or E to Dybbølsbro station. Go up the stairs from the station and when you are on the bridge you turn right. In the first traffic light you turn left and walk two minuts down Ingerslevsgade until you reach Asger Rygs Gade!
I have many recommendations for restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. nearby. Just ask!
The host reserves the right to deny access to the apartment should the guest behave in any way that feels suspicious, harmful, dangerous, or disrespectful.
This property is lovely and really nicely furnished. The flat is on the second or third story of a building situated on a gorgeous Vesterbro street.
We misunderstood that Katrine would be in the flat while we were there, but kept to herself in the living room. Yet she was always happy to answer any of our questions for us. She also graciously let us keep our bags there after we had checked out so we didn't have to carry them around Copenhagen before our evening flights.
Will happily stay here again the next time I'm in Copenhagen.
I really liked the apartment, it was pretty, cozy, and perfect for my short visit to Copenhagen. And I slept really well! I didn't meet Katrine, but our communication was easy and everything went well.
Katrine was great - she arranged the key to be left for us, because she was at work when we arrived. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of bars, restaurants, cool and hip places around. The flat is cosy and beautifully arranged. Kitchen and bath are small but have a real feel to it - all in all a really beautiful flat. We didn't spend much time in flat - we picked up the recommendations (and they were great!) and went for the city. Everything was within walking distance - at least what we wanted to see and all the cool places of vesterbro are just around the corner. Dyrehaven is a must for breakfast! ;-)
We have appreciated staying at Katrine's apartment that is centrally located, very convenient, quiet & bright. Katrine made us feel at home & we have enjoyed our visit -
I had a great weekend in Katrines beautiful apartment. It is very central in Vesterbro, close to the best restaurants and bars, and a good starting point for exploring Copenhagen, but at the same time quiet and cosy. Katrine was a great host and available for every question I had. I can only recommend this accomodation!
I arrived late into Copenhagen and Katrine was good enough to meet me on arrival without any issues. My room was very comfortable and the apartment was very close to the city centre.
I spent a week in beautiful Copenhagen and I can not say anything bad about this apartment and my hostess Katrine. Actually, all I can is that I highly recommend this place. It is situated in a nice neighborhood, near the old town and the main train station (and airport). The apartment is very cool and Katrine was a fantastic hostess. In fact, I used almost all the time, and without limitation to the apartment because Katrine rarely crossed me (giving me more freedom, something I wanted) but always maintaining communication and friendliness. If you go to copenhagen, is an excellent apartment to consider.
I'm from Denmark. I'm 30 years old. I love to travel, listen to music - mostly rock and jazz. In my spare time I hang out with friends, listen to music, go to concerts, walk around fantastic copenhagen, shop and plan my next travel ;)
