A group of seven of us rented Jackie's place for a weekend. The place is nestled in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Kelowna. The house is literally a minute walk away from the beach. The house is massive and very open. Jackie had everything setup for us, including but not limited to, the hot tub temperature, BBQ, loads of beach towels. Her house was so welcoming, we stayed in every night and used the BBQ for dinner. It saved us a lot of money! There are several wineries within a five minute driving time. Jackie was home and welcomed us upon arrival. She was gracious and warm. She also permitted us to spend an extra few hours past check out time. We created lots of memories in Kelowna and we are thankful for the stay and hope to return.
Thanks Amit, it was a pleasure having you and you totally left the house in excellent condition. I'm glad you enjoyed your weekend and I hope I see you and your friends again. I was so happy the sun stated to shine as soon as you arrived and kept on shining the entire time you were in Kelowna. Thanks for staying with me, you will always be welcome. Jackie
What a wonderful weekend we had at Jackie's lovely home! We had 8 women in our party and we enjoyed all the space the home offered, especially the spacious kitchen. We could all easily work together cooking and and didn't feel cramped.
The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the extra amenities that were supplied. It's a gorgeous neighbourhood and easily walked down to the corner pub one night for live music and drinks.
Corresponding with Jackie before our trip, put our mind at ease, and she was very helpful. We all would whole-heartedly recommend staying with Jackie and hope to be back again ourselves.
Thanks Leslie, I know this response is a bit late but I wanted you to know how much I enjoyed having you and your friends. It was a pleasure to have a few minutes interacting with all of you and I truly hope you pick up the book, "One Good Dog". Thanks for leaving the house in such good order, the clean up was quick and easy. Thanks again and I truly hope I see you again on your return visit to Kelowna. Jackie
Four of us stayed for 9 nights in April 2015 and everything was completely as advertised. The house was spotless when we arrived and was well-stocked with all the essentials. The complimentary toiletry items and tea/coffee which were a really nice touch! The king bed is exceptionally comfortable and all the bedrooms were full of beautiful, handmade quilts. The back deck, BBQ, and hot tub are perfect for casual dinners and socializing. The beach was just across the street and the neighbourhood is wonderfully quiet, but still a convenient distance to the downtown area. A couple of restaurants and a small grocery store are also within walking distance. Jackie was a very welcoming and communicative host, full of recommendations for things to do in the area. She was just a phone call away if we had any questions. She patiently worked with us prior to our arrival to ensure our somewhat specific parking and electricity needs (we travel with a large truck) were met well in advance. We would highly recommend this home. Thank you, Jackie! We hope to come back next year!
eight of us spent a weekend recently at Jackie's home and we all were very impressed with Jackie's home and with Jackie. We all loved the neighbourhood and enjoyed the comforts of Jackie's home. Jackie was very attentive and helpful and easy to get a hold of if needed. We would recommend this home to all, it is especially well suited for a group of people. We also thoroughly enjoyed the wineries that were easy to get to and in general the neighbourhood.
8 of us stayed over the long weekend at Jackie's place. It was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Well-equipped kitchen, awesome back deck and BBQ. The hot tub was a nice bonus as well. Fun bear theme throughout the whole house! Would be entertaining for kids to count how many. :0) We had the king bed and it was super comfortable. The two queen beds upstairs were comfortable but both squeaked whenever you moved. Minor issue as overall everything was great and as advertised. Oh can't forget the life saving air conditioning! Very enjoyable stay and a short drive to everything. Way better than staying downtown!
We had 8 people staying in the house. The house suited our needs well. There were tons of blankets, quilts and pillows. Thank goodness for the air conditioning.
We missed having a view of the lake but having easy access to the beach and a beautiful yard made up for it.
