This place was in an excellent locations for us. Just across the street was Kensington Park. The tube was about 7 minutes away. There was a Whole Foods store and a Tesco about 5 minutes away which was very helpful as it was expensive to eat out. Groceries were not too bad. The place is very secure and in a good part of town. It had everything we needed. Plenty of cooking utensils and a wash machine. The best thing though was the host, Nava. She was there from beginning to end. She left us a cell phone and we could contact her about everything. She ordered us a taxi, posted cards for us, made suggestions about how to get to certain places. If you have never been to London, this is the place to stay for sure. The place was very clean and the beds were adequate. We felt at home in her flat.
The location is perfect, next to Kensington gardens en Kensington High Street. The apartment is large enough for 1 person, but could easily be used be 2-4 guests.
Nava was a great host, providing me anything I needed including cleaning service. I would recommend the apartment to anyone.
The flat was easy to find, a tube and a bus ride away. Nava was there ready to let us in and give us a guided tour of the flat. It was a cold January day but the flat was lovely and warm.
It is situated 10 minutes walk from the Royal Albert Hall and 10 minutes walk, in the opposite direction, from the shops in Kensington High Street, no need to worry about food shopping there are plenty of excellent shops.
Both buses and the tube are in easy reach. The flat is on a quiet side street, there was no disturbance from traffic or people in the area, very peaceful.
The flat was clean but the furniture, decor and general maintenance was rather tired and dated. Having said that the shower was hot and powerful and there was sky tv and broadband.
We had a brilliant long weekend in London and the flat was ideally located for everything we wanted to do.
We didn't need to contact Nava, but had we wanted to we had her contact details and knew that she was nearby if we had a problem.
Very good location. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. My family and I felt like home. I thank Nava for their excellent service. With no doubt, the best hostess that we know!
The apartment was great! Nava was very kind and flexible. My flight was delayed, so I couldn't be on time at the apartment. It was no problem, she was so kind to wait for me. My family loved the stay also. Great location, clean and comfortable house.
Nava was an excellent host. Very welcoming and obliging. The apartment is in prime position around the corner from High Street Kensington with ample restaurants and supermarkets. The tube is about a 5-7 minute walk. The apartment is very comfortable and warm and in a safe area. The shower is great, plenty of hot water and good pressure. Some of the furnishings and fittings are a little tired but they do not distract from a very pleasant stay.
A great location for first time visitors to London. Close to the High Street shops, Underground train station and plenty of buses. The flat was very comfortable with fresh towels and linen. Nava was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome . She met us at the flat early and organised a set price for a car to the airport. We would highly recommend this accommodation. Thanks Nava
I have been reception manager for a small hotel in London for the past 30 years and enjoy advising people about local attractions, theatre and sightseeing. I like to travel a lot especially to see my son in Los Angeles and help him to further his career as an actor in movies and theatre.
