Perched above the trees on a peaceful woodland ridge, this charming studio sits on 42 private acres of fields and forest. Wake to birdsong, sip coffee overlooking the woods, and unwind in a cozy retreat featuring a plush queen bed, & comfortable sitting area. Whether you're seeking rest, inspiration, or adventure, you'll find peace, privacy, and a slower pace of life. Perfect for unplugging, working remotely, writing, creating, or simply slowing down. A place you won't want to leave.

The space
This thoughtfully designed studio is approximately 11 by 16 feet and offers a cozy, comfortable stay for one guest. It can also accommodate two guests who enjoy a more intimate, efficient space.

The studio includes a private toilet and sink room, a separate step up room with standing shower, a kitchenette with a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, dishes and glassware, a table with two chairs, a Smart TV, and a large wardrobe for clothing and luggage.

Just outside the private entrance is a peaceful patio area where you can enjoy your morning coffee and the surrounding woods. Additional photos are always available upon request.

Guest access
Guest Access

The studio has doors on both the east and west sides of the building. Your main entrance and private patio are located on the west side, with a walkway leading directly to the studio.

This is our private home, but guests are welcome to enjoy the peaceful property, including the large open field and our private three quarter mile driveway, which is lovely for walking or jogging.

Because the property is surrounded by woods, you may see deer, turkey, many species of birds, and occasionally other wildlife, including bears or bobcats. Please admire all wildlife from a safe distance. Ticks are also common in the area, so we recommend bringing insect repellent and checking yourself after exploring the woods or tall grass.

Lives in Glens Falls, New York
“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately.” — Henry David Thoreau I am endlessly fascinated by the intersection of nature, conversation, food, creativity, and personal growth. This retreat is an extension of that philosophy. It was created as a sanctuary for those seeking respite from the velocity of modern life—a place where stillness is not empty, but restorative; where solitude can be nourishing; and where the natural world gently reminds us of what matters most. Welcome!
