I'm really sorry about your negative experience. However, it is important to make certain things clear:
*This is the only time this has ever happened since I've rented the apt through Airbnb.
*When you called you said you weren't even sure if you had the money with you or if you had lost it somewhere else. You never mentioned the credit cards until much later, did you lose those too?
*We checked all the security cameras in the complex and the only person entering the apt by himself was someone from your own group... he was later seen peeking into the next door's apt in a very suspicious way. What for?
*You refused to file a police report and when we offered to help with it, to clarify the matter for everyone, you left one hour later.
*The process to access the apt works fine but in this case, when you are not even sure about if you had the money when you arrived, I believe it's not right and it's unfair to blame it on us (myself and the management company).
* In this case, I didn't fail to provide a safe environment (I never do), but you should have been way more mindful about your belongings. You had access to the safe the moment you walked in.
I hate that this might reflect negatively on Ronda but she is the worst guest I've ever had...
