Bueno me vuelvo a mi tierra con muchos recuerdos, amigos, sabores, y con la certeza de volver gracias Julia y Julien por abrirnos su casa.
I booked this trip for my parents, because my dad wanted to surprise my mom and did not want the trip to show up on their airbnb account :-). Julia was very helpful in arranging everything before the trip began, including a taxi driver that had the key to the apartment which made my parents' late arrival possible. Just before they arrived, Julia had to leave Rome due to a grave family crisis but that did not prevent her to check in with me by email to make sure my parents made it to the flat okay. She stayed in touch all the time and made sure her boyfriend Julien was in Rome to answer any questions for my parents during their stay. He was also very helpful, kind and gave them useful tips about the city. The apartment is great, quiet and very close to the major sites in Rome. The neighborhood feels very safe and cosy. We would recommend everyone a stay with Julia and Julien!
Da Audrey was my idea of the perfect place to stay while travelling. The apartment was quiet, comfortable, clean, private and intimate, with everything I needed, in a fantastic location, surrounded by exceptional restaurants and within walking distance to Rome's attractions. I very easily felt like I belonged and could experience some of the real Rome. Julia's partner let me in on my arrival, and showed me around, gave me a list of good restaurants and kept in contact to see if all was going well. I highly recommend staying here.
Perfect location! Charming flat! Julie is an excellent host. Can't wait to visit again!
I can't say enough good things about the flat I stayed in. It is located within walking distance of all the major sights, but also away from the really touristy areas. There are wonderful places to eat(where real Itallians go) within a 1 minute walk. The flat itself was clean and very funtional. For the amount of money I paid, I thought it was very good value. The owners were very helpful with suggestions, and making me feel at home. If I am ever back in Rome I will definitely stay at Da Audrey.

My international background and education luckily led to the creation of unusual bonds with people from all over the globe. For this, I was often granted the outstanding opportunity to "feel home away from home" and - just like Miss Gilbert - traveling soon turned out to be "the great true love of my life..."
When I travel, I want to go beyond the hotel chains or standard guidebooks. I want to feel what the internet is unable to transmit. For a few days, I want to read the reality of a city and its inhabitants; live how they live, go where they go, eat what they eat, drink what they drink...To me, that is what adds meaning to traveling, thus it is the meaning I like to add to those who travel!
