  • Beautiful and spacious apartment in a quiet street. Clean, full of light. Loved to be there.
Paolo and Carmine are great hosts, nice and helpful. We're really appreciated for that excellent week in Rome. Thank you and see you next time!

  • I find that apartments are sometimes much smaller than the photos lead one to believe - not the case with this beautiful elegant apartment. It happens to be Paolo's home and he has things from his travels all over the world adorning the rooms. It is in a very quiet beautiful area in Trastevere, so you are close enough to walk to the many bars and ristorantes, but removed from the noise. Very wonderful in every way and equipped more as a home than a rental!

  • Stunning apartment in great location. The building and apartment are beautiful and full of character. The place is huge and has everything you would need whilst away. Easy walk to all amenities and trastevere. I would highly recommend! Thank you Paolo!

  • Rome was our first stop of our Tuscany cycling trip. Paolo's apartment is cozy and homey, tastefully decorated with a mix of modern and antique wooden furnishings. It has got high ceilings with large windows and balconies looking out into a quiet residential backstreet -- perfect for a sunny morning. Having little idea about Rome neighborhood, we were lucky to have chanced upon Trastevere -- the apartment is quietly tucked minutes away from historical alleyways filled with small caffe's and osteria's. Indeed we ended up walking all the way to the Vatican, thanks to its central location. Last but not the least, Paolo is a friendly host, very responsive to our emails. He and his friend were there personally to greet us on arrival in the morning, who offered many helpful suggestions to restaurants and logistics. Would definitely love to come back!

  • The apartment was absolutely fantastic - even better than in pictures. Wonderful location, very quiet building and quiet street, easy walk to major tourist sites.
Check-in went smoothly and Paolo left clear instructions and recommendations for grocery shopping and restaurants.

  • Paolo was a perfect host. He met us and took the time to explain everything in the neighborhood and how to use the apartment in full.
He also went out of his way to meet my friend in Rome since I left some personal items behind after I left.
The place is really comfy and the decor is so modern yet cozy.
We enjoyed the location and it is a quiet place for a nice romantic stay or to get away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists in Rome City Center.
We enjoyed the open windows and the weather was amazing at that time. The high ceilings and old feel of the building make it a true gem and I would recommend anyone looking for a getaway in Rome to try out this elegant yet comfortable and modern gem.

  • Paolo's place was just what we expected from the photos and information provided to us in his listing. The apartment was spacious, beautiful, and conveniently located near plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. The only time we used public transportation was to get to Roma Termini or to the airport. Otherwise, we were able to walk to all of the tourist attractions. Paolo met us at the apartment and gave us a quick tour of caring for the apartment. He did not spend too much of our time and left us with a helpful list of ammenities. Paolo's apartment was like paradise; very spacious, beautiful, comfortable, with wifi and air-conditioning- just the kind of place we needed at the end of our long days in Rome. Staying at Paolo's apartment was definitely one of our greatest decisions we made for our trip to Rome.

  • Appt was lovely - very comfortable, great location, clean and interestingly decorated. Appt is quiet, close to local markets and good transport to main sites. It is in a lovely area and very safe. We were met by Carmen as Paolo was away, and she was very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again.
