About this listing
This charming apartment is finely decorated with antique and contemporary art and furniture.
It is composed by a master bedroom with king size bed, a very big living/dining room with a double sofa-bed, a wide entrance with a double sofa bed, bathroom with tub and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.
The apartment is totally surrounded by trees and gardens and is very quiet and bright.
The building is really nice and dates back to the 20s, it also has an elevator.
The area (Trastevere) is one of the nicest of the centre and it's famous for its fascinating ancient streets and the great choice of traditional restaurants and lively cafes. Supermarkets, groceries, open air market are all at close walking distance. The building is located in via Filippo Casini, a nice residential street.
The neighbourhood is very safe. It is convenient for public transportation and you would get very quickly and easily everywhere. It is also pleasant to walk to the main sites of interest, as you would cross many nice places in the ancient centre.
Paolo's apartment was beautiful. A wonderfully designed, bright and spacious apartment in Trastevere, would definitely highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a homebase while exploring Rome. We had a great time and Paolo left detailed instructions on everything from the washing machine to calling a taxi. Thanks Paolo!

The apartment was beautiful, huge and in a very quiet location a 10 minute walk to centre of Trastevere and a 20 min walk to Campo di Fiori or Piazza Venezia. There's green aspects from every window and a lemon tree and fresh herbs on balcony and window sills. There's a fresh food market around the corner every morning and everything else you need. Paolo left the apartment immaculate, provided a weekly clean and change of sheets and an empty wardrobe and draws. The Wifi was excellent, the kitchen is small but well equipped. We didn't have time to watch TV but there is apple tv and cable with anything you would want. The owners were very helpful and unobtrusive.
This apartment was the most wonderful home away from home. Everything you could want is here- gorgeous sun filled lounge/dining room, large comfortable master bedroom, comfortable second sofa bed in the private nook off the entrance room, large bathroom with shower and bath and a very functional kitchen with everything you need. The apartment is immaculate with first class linen and towels. The apartment is in a perfect quiet and leafy location just 5 minutes from the local markets selling fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and small goods as well as the endless vibrant restaurants of Trastevere. The old centre of Rome is just 15-20minutes on foot or easily accessible by the efficient tram service and numerous buses. Paolo was incredibly accommodating, speaks perfect English and provided detailed information on everything in the flat as well as local restaurants. We loved this apartment and didn't want to leave. Thank you Paolo for the perfect Roman Holiday.
Paolo and his partner greeted us. Nothing was a problem. They were very helpful and could be contacted at any time but were never intrusive. Their cleaner Carmen was lovely and did a wonderful job and changed sheets and towels weekly. This is their own apartment and beautifully decorated. The wardrobe was empty. A short set of instructions covered everything we needed.
Paolo's apartment was a great base for exploring Trastevere during our ten day stay in Rome. The area is vibrant and busy, but the apartment is a quiet haven for recovering from a day's sightseeing.
We were warmly welcomed by Carmen, who showed us all we needed to know about the amenities. The apartment itself is very stylish, but we also found it a home away from home with many personal touches and interesting objets d'art to enjoy. Thanks for a wonderful visit.
We loved our time in Paolo's flat in Teastevere! Paolo is a great host--friendly, available--very warm and professional. The apartment is lovely--and the pictures do not do it justice! There is light, a nice view of the lovely street, comfortable beds (my son slept on the extra bed) and plenty of hot water in the shower/bath. But mostly, it's the tall ceilings, french doors, Paolo's artistic design aesthetic that make this place so special. It's easy to get everywhere from here--by bus, taxi or walking--and there are many restaurants nearby as well.
