  • We haven't seen Annette (Annette, do you really exist by the way?). Our contact is Fabrizio who is just living above our apartment. Fabrizio is pretty cool and very discrete.

  • The House on 11th Street was perfect for our long weekend stay and exactly as shown.
We really enjoyed the layout and furnishings were really cool too.
    Would definitely stay again.

  • We had a great time staying at the garden appt at 11th street. Nice quiet garden for sunny breakfasts, friendly neighborhood with one lots of restaurants and shops only one block away.
Annette didn't respond the emails, so we were a little concerned if everything was allright. Fabricio though gave us a warm welcome, he was quick to respond and very reliable. The sofabed was convenient for one, but a bit instable due to a loose leg.

  • We had a great time at this appartment. We were lucky the weather was absolutely brilliant. Therefore we could have breakfast in the garden, awesome! Inside it's a bit dark, and the double bed is not brand new anymore, but who cares. This appartment is spacious, especially for the 2 of us. The appartment has all the things you need and it is very quiet & safe in this neighborhood and on the streets. Fabrizio is a great host, very flexible and he answers quickly when you have any questions. A metro station is closeby. Whenever we come back to NYC we will consider this appartment again.

  • Lovely space, and perfect location for us, near family, and with lots of great eating nearby. We were able to adjust our arrival time for much earlier in the day, and that worked perfectly. Location for catching train into Manhattan could not be better and on top of that the apartment was oh so quiet! Will plan to return when the snow is gone from the garden!

  • We really liked the inside of the space. It had the original floors and lots of character. The listing stated "flexible" check-in and check-out but when I inquired, I found there was not much flexibility. When the wireless internet did not work, the owner was unable to assist and we had some challenges with making plans without internet available.

  • Perfect location for us near family and a short walk to the great shops on 5th Ave. Carlo was a wonderful host and we can't wait to stay again!

  • We loved staying here and highly recommend it. It is a great location, near the subway so quick into Manhatten & near the great restaurants and bars in Park Slope, Brooklyn but most importantly it has the three criteria I always seek in a rental: great heating (it's lovely and cosy and warm), a fab shower with plenty of hot water & a bed thats so so comfortable we could sleep for hours & oh, did we say it's ever so quiet...also a sweet garden which we did not use as we stayed in December. Finally, for a wonderful cab company to get you to the airport we used (website hidden) and we had a great ride in a spotless car with a friendly driver.

  • We had a wonderful time at the House on 11th Street. The place suited us perfectly: the neighbourhood is friendly and relaxed; the apartment was charming and welcoming. We would recommend the House on 11th for those seeking a retreat from the noise of Manhattan.

When I'm not planning an event or decorating, I love to sit back, relax and take life in. My home is my sanctuary, and I try to make it feel that way for others. Not pretentious or stuffy, just comfortable and welcoming - so if you're planning a trip to Brooklyn and need a place to stay that will feel like a home away from home, shoot me an e-mail. Coming Next Spring -- I will have a beautiful master suite available for rent - with small seating area, queen size bed, private dual sink master bath with tub and a lovely private deck for you to sit and enjoy a morning cup of coffee or some star gazing at night!
