  • Great, great and great. The apartment is in the middle of the Trastevere, the nightlife's place. Very close (1 minute) of Belli Station and you can visit all Ancient Rome by foot. The bedroom is very quiet. We loved Roma, and we'll stay in Sebastian's Apartment again.

  • Sebastian was really nice and it was very easy to contact him, check-in, and check-out. The apartment has two separate rooms and is clean. It is in a great location. You can walk to just about all of the tourist sites and the buses come frequently. There are tons of places to eat and drink in Trastavere and we really enjoyed being in this neighborhood. The apartment is on the first floor, but we felt secure and the noise was not bad since the bedroom faces the courtyard, not the street.

  • My son and I had a terrific experience staying at Sebastian's place. It was clean with everything we needed and had plenty of room. We loved the neighborhood. It was lively and had many shops and places to eat. We were able to find our way to all the main sites of Rome. We had a great time spending many hours a day wandering around the city but had a comfortable place to come "home" to for a good nights sleep. If ever in Rome again I would surely come back here to stay.

Sebastian was a perfect host !
The flat is how it is described. The only thing we can miss is more light in the living room.
The place is really well located to enjoy & discover Rome without taking any transport ! The area is surrounded by very nice bars & restaurant... We recommend it for sure and hopefully, we will come back ;)

  • We stayed three nights at Sebastian's apartment. We only interacted with Sebastian a few times in person, but he seems very congenial and warm-hearted. When we buzzed him to check out at about 11am, he generously suggested that we leave in the evening instead (as he didn't have other guests arriving), which saved us from having to lug our things around Rome during the day before leaving on an evening train. Communicating with Sebastian before arrival was quick and easy, and he provided very clear and helpful instructions on how to get to the apartment from the train station by bus. He lives a few floors above the apartment, I think, and he seemed to be available most of the time, though we didn't have any need to call on him during our stay.

The location was excellent. Trastevere was by far the most appealing neighbourhood we saw in Rome. It is full of life, especially in the evenings. There are lots of bars, cafes, shops and restaurants within a minute's walk. There were certainly many English speakers in the area, but it seemed decidedly less full of tourists than the other side of the River. We were able to walk comfortably to all the tourist sites - the Colosseum and Forum, Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, the Pantheon, etc. - and it was good to head back to Trastevere in the evening.

The apartment is very much as it appears in the photos. That is, it's extremely minimalist; but if you are going to be traipsing around Rome, it works very well as a place to rest up, use the wifi, and sleep. As other reviewers have noted, because the bedroom is at the rear, there is virtually no noise from the exterior, despite Trastevere being a very lively neighbourhood on the weekend - there's only noticeable noise when people come and go from the adjacent apartment. Hot water seemed to be somewhat limited, so long, hot showers may not be possible, but we found there to be enough for two consecutive showers if we were quick. Oh, and the floors are brick, so they were rather cold; you may want to bring slippers. Overall, we had a very good experience, and would stay again.
    Thanks Sebastian!
