Carol and her family were great! I was only there long enough to sleep (about 8 hours), but everything was exactly as promised and I was grateful as a first-time AirBnBer. I'm expecting to be back in town this summer and plan on checking the availability here first!
Carol was lovely and kind enough to accept my request to spend the night on short notice. The lavender in her front garden is gorgeous and she is a kind and friendly host. Especially loved having my choice of hard or soft pillow.
Walk Downtown Serene Organic Home 1 lives up to its description in the Airbnb listing. Our room was clean, roomy and quiet. It was semi-private, sharing a bathroom with another guest that was there part of the time. We had sufficient privacy. The beds (twins) were very comfortable. There was adequate closet and drawer space for two people. Our host, Carol, was gracious, friendly and very accommodating. The family has pets that are well trained and quiet. Organic Home 1 is on a quiet, residential street with easy street parking if a car is needed. Beehives for honey are in the backyard and we recommend buying a jar from the teenager of the house. It is the best natural honey we’ve tasted, a bonus on top of a delightful stay.
2nd time staying at Carol's place. Very easy communication, nice comfy bed and overall great stay.
Carol's place is beautiful, cozy and clean! I couldn't have picked a better place to stay while looking for a place to live. She lives on a quiet suburban street very close to downtown Mountain View shops and restaurants. It was convenient to all of the highways and amenities. My favorite part was sitting outside on her garden patio where you can smell the flowers and lavender. She and her son also took great care of my cat, Fiona, while I was at work. I highly reccomend staying with them!
Carol was extremely welcoming. She was very open, friendly, and attentive. She is well traveled and is an excellent conversationalist.
The neighborhood is quiet, accessible, and safe. It's only a 10 minute walk from downtown Mountain View and all of the great restaurants there.
Her home is beautifully decorated with eclectic furniture and art from around the world. She has a beautiful garden in front of her home; while I didn't take the opportunity to utilize it, it certainly looked comfortable.
The private rooms were comfortable and clean. It has plenty of space to spread out a little bit. The restroom was also very clean. It was exactly what was advertised.
