Carol's place is beautiful, cozy and clean! I couldn't have picked a better place to stay while looking for a place to live. She lives on a quiet suburban street very close to downtown Mountain View shops and restaurants. It was convenient to all of the highways and amenities. My favorite part was sitting outside on her garden patio where you can smell the flowers and lavender. She and her son also took great care of my cat, Fiona, while I was at work. I highly reccomend staying with them!
Carol was extremely welcoming. She was very open, friendly, and attentive. She is well traveled and is an excellent conversationalist.
The neighborhood is quiet, accessible, and safe. It's only a 10 minute walk from downtown Mountain View and all of the great restaurants there.
Her home is beautifully decorated with eclectic furniture and art from around the world. She has a beautiful garden in front of her home; while I didn't take the opportunity to utilize it, it certainly looked comfortable.
The private rooms were comfortable and clean. It has plenty of space to spread out a little bit. The restroom was also very clean. It was exactly what was advertised.
Great place to stay! Carol is an awesome person. The house is nice and let's say "not standard".
comfy room, lovely house and family, and cool neighborhood. very nice (short) stay.
Very kind and welcoming family, and spotless home. I was very happy here but experienced a bit of noise. Nothing egregious, but there are other guests and walls are thin, so they woke me as they came home even though they weren't being too loud. I think I will travel with earplugs in future. Overall, a great place to stay, cheerful and clean.
Carol's home is very welcoming. She is kind and open. I had a great experience. The rooms is spotless clean and provides enough closet space. The bathroom is shared with another room. I was lucky and the couple staying in the other room were very clean. Carol has a hairy funny cat and a puppy indoors. But despite am not used to animals, it was easy to manage. If you have allergy maybe not good idea. If you expect a modern organized kitchen it is not the case. This is a home kitchen, used on a daily basis. I dont cook so it was ok with me. The other couple cooked and seemed happy. Finally, location is great! I loved walking to Castro street every morning. The room is quiet and the neighborhood clean, cute and safe.

Hi, I was born and raised abroad, though have been a Bay Area native for 30 years. I've had a relocation business for many years and am very familiar with the activities and places to visit, which I'd gladly recommend to you. My 11 year old son and I travel often, and he goes to Waldorf school. We have been "green" for the last 15 years - we love to give back to the earth in all the ways that we can.
I am a seasoned Airbnb host and have also stayed with a number of wonderful Airbnb hosts. Our guests have been travelers from many parts of USA, South Africa, Spain, Australia, Germany, India, France, China, Colombia, Denmark, Russia, England, Hong Kong, Belgium, Greece, Canada, Slovenia, Indonesia, Scotland, Ireland, Panama, Hungary, Taiwan, Japan and I am excited about hosting you too.
Welcome to our organic home or the furnished, downtown, corporate apartment, two blocks down from my home.
