Tim was very quick to get back to me when I sent a rather last minute request to stay at his place. The house was mostly clean and aesthetically pleasing, however no one was there when we arrived. This is one of the things I enjoy most about AirBnb: Being hosted and feeling welcome. Our bedroom was big and spacious, but the comforter was not clean. There was a large cobweb hanging from our ceiling. Some other guests staying at the place found bugs in their room. Definitely not my favorite air BNB experience so far.
We didn't meet Tim, but he responded quickly when we found ourselves looking for a room in Atlanta at the last minute. The house was clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable.
My pal and I had a pleasant night at Tim's place over spring break. The king bed was comfortable and the house was clean and tidy. He was really prompt in his response to his guests as well. However, I personally felt that the house looked a little way older than what the pictures show. Nonetheless, a very decent place. Thanks Tim!
Liked the big room and really nice house. Nice kitchen and bathroom too, with pile of towels. Not too far from the Marta station. Tim was very helpful and responded quickly. My first airbnb experience. Many thanks!
We never met Tim, but he was very responsive and helpful. As for the place, we arrived late and as two single females, felt a little uncomfortable with the surrounds. Perhaps arriving in the daytime we would have felt differently. The house itself is spacious and the bed was comfortable. However, it was an old house that was not particularly clean or kept up with -- for example, the doorknob came off the bathroom door. That being said, the price was right for a quick overnight stay.
While visiting Atlanta during the holidays Tim accepted our last minute reservation. He welcomed us and showed the house. The bed is very comfy and we met some great people / new friends during our stay, but the house / room was not the cleanest and older than the pictures show. We did not feel comfortable walking around / taking the Marta at night, but during the day it was ok. All by all we had a great time in Atlanta / at Tim's and it is a good deal for people on a limited budget. Thanks for having us!
Very welcoming and quick response to a last minute booking!

About the Host, Tim
I am a very relaxed and easygoing and open minded guy looking to host people and make new friends around the world. I have always wanted to work in the hospitality industry since I was a kid it was a dream of mine to own my own b&b. I lived in my home on Tift Ave for almost 15 years. I have hosted many friends and travelers from around the world in my historic home. Now that I found out about AirBNB, I am opening my home to you. I now have five properties close to downtown Atlanta three in historic Capital View neighborhood and two in Historic Adair Park neighborhood. they are both very close to downtown and walking distance from the marta train station and bus stops so Its very easy to get around the city without the need for a car. Several of the homes also can be booked entirely for larger groups.I also have many hostel spaces available great for travelers on a budget. I have male and female dorms. My 22 year old daughter is also a host at the female dorm house on Fairbanks Street She has a wonderful dog Grace that will stay mostly in her room .I love to share travel stories drink good wine and eat good food. I like almost anything as far as food goes and red and white white alike as well as a good beer. I really don't have any major rules just be a polite guest as I will be a great host and even show you around if you need me to. I also love the outdoors and know some great places to hike in Atlanta. I also love to cook, drink wine or beers and eat good food and have a Nice large kitchen for you to make yourself at home in as well as each house has a great private backyard and fire pit and large front porches, I live on Tift And My Daughter Lives on Fairbanks Street. Tift Ave has 4 outdoor cats and a small dog Alvin you will love. Fairbanks Street the girls dorm has a dog Grace that you will love. My other properties do not have any animals unless a guest happens to have one.
