Were do I start. We had an amazing time at Casa Verde, Cahuita and Costa Rica. Our hostess Annie was great she was quick to respond, really nice and full of knowledge about the area, activities and shops.
Casa Verde was a cute house and the pictures don't do it justice. It has everything you need to spend a couple days or a couple weeks. I definitely recommend it as a good place to stay and just a short walk to the beach.
Thanks Annie and Guinness for a Great two weeks,
Cahuita is a very lovely place to spend some time at the Caribbean coast and Annie offers a cute little house for this stay.
Its in short walking distance to nice local restaurants which serve delicious food at affordable prices.
Annie was very helpful in answering all our questions.
Guinness the house cat is very sociable and cuddly.
We saw an opossum with babies in the garden.
Only Playa Negra was a bit disappointing but there are nice beaches nearby in Cahuita National Park or a bit farther in Puerto Viejo.
Annie was a wonderful host and her home exceeded our expectations. Her home is wonderful and we felt very safe and comfortable. On our next visit to the area we will absolutely stay here again.
The house was absolutely as advertised - the air condition was a great bonus. We enjoyed our stay very much, even with the rough ocean.
Unfortunately we booked only for seven days, that will never happen again. Next time we definitely will stay longer.
We had a great time in Casa Verde and Cahuita. The House Is everything You could dream of, the sea was a bit rough, so we Could not really swim, but the Wildlife is great, and it passes you by, while you have a coffee on the terrace. Nando was there to give us instructions to the house, and Guinness- the friendly house cat. We really enjoyed the reaggae bar and the fireworks on the main square on New Years. Food wise no new recommendations- go for Arroz- that's never bad! The house is a lot more spacious, the fotos do not live up to it.
Casa Verde and Cahuita was more than I had ever dreamed it would be. My husband and I stayed there for 10 days during our honeymoon, and wish we could have stayed longer. Annie was such a gracious host--so knowledgeable of the area and was available to answer any questions we had during our stay. We had the good fortune to have her in town for our visit, so she was nearby if we needed anything.
The house itself is so beautiful - everything was clean, the design is amazing, the water pressure is great for showers, and the kitchen is fully equipped. It is HOT on the Caribbean coast, but fans on the front porch and in the house made it comfortable--there's also an AC unit in the master bedroom that was much appreciated for sleeping at night. The front porch is such a nice place to enjoy a drink, read a book, and listen to the birds and the ocean waves roll in. The ocean is just at the end of the street, so it's very audible from the front porch. There were only 2 of us, but with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, we think we'll be back with friends!
When you visit, don't miss Sobre Las Olas, Pizzeria Cahuita, and Surf Carribbean for meals--you won't regret it.
The reservation was canceled 118 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
