This is a LOFT one bedroom apartment which also has a lounge with an open plan kitchen. This flat is refurbished to a high standard. It has a showerroom with sink and toilet. It is a HOLIDAY LET apartment which has a lounge with an open plan kitchenette (to prepare basic foods). This flat is in an ideal location as it is in the city centre and yet it is easy communting distance of all London's attraction in the centre of the city and also within easy travel of the Olympic site. It is Bijou (small) but perfectly comfortable for 2-4 people. 1) The flat
- A very modern, comfortable flat located in the vibrant heart of London's iconic East End and only 12 minutes walk from Adgate East station and 20 minutes walk to Liverpool Street Station.
-The flat is entered via the main door shared by the public to the medical centre. A white set of gates separate the private area for the flats from the public part of the building.

- No Washing machine anymore (very sorry!) as it has been constantly broken by guests, HOWEVER there is a laundry place about 7 meters away on Burslen Street that will do 'Service' clothes wash for convenient!! -it means you drop it off and pick it up the next day (or even that evening!): )
- Luxury marble shower room full length mirrored and soft blue LED lighting and spot lights- contains a WC, basin and shower with rain water power shower.
- The flat will accommodate a small group of maximum of 4/5...even a maximum of 6 people: i.e., 2 people in the comfortable double bedroom and 2 on the double sofa-bed in the Lounge and 2 people in the second Sofa-bed.

The Neighborhood

The apartment and location offer comfort and convenience. It's an ideal base for exploring London's tourist attractions or for doing business in this remarkable city.

The immediate neighbourhood is sandwiched between the financial centre of London and asian community....and as such you have a lot of professionals who work in the finance industry living around. You also have a lots of Asian families living in the area and Asian businesses and restaurants, so you really have to love Asian food! I do : )

Also the surrounding area is an outlet for the fashion industry so there are lots of 'Whole Sale' outlets that will sell to individual public and so you can get real baragins buying direct if you shop around in the area!

Check In
  • Lara's flat was absolutely fantastic, it's a cosy little space with real character. The sofabed converts into a bed more than big enough for 2 people and we were able to stay here comfortably with 4 people. The bathroom was a little small and the slant of the roof means you're constantly hitting your head in the (fully furnished) kitchen but it exceeded my expectations for a flat in Zone 1 in central London. The neighbourhood is not the most glamorous but East London is pretty iconic - if you get the chance, head over to Brick Lane market (which is a 15 minute walk from the flat) and try their bagels...absolutely to die for. Overall, I had a great experience with this flat and Lara was a lovely host who was very responsive to our every need. Would most definitely stay here again the next time we're in London.

  • Lara's Loft was nice as pictured. It was clean and well maintained. I didn't have any problem finding it and Lara was very responsive via (website hidden) and cell phone. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly. The kitchen has the essentials. It has a small countertop oven with two cook tops on top, so it's possible to cook if you choose. There are many good restaurants in the area and Lara gave us some great recommendations. The location is nice because it is so central to many sights in London and close to public transportation. The double bed in the bedroom is comfortable and there are also two couches that transform to beds. It's a small but comfortable space. I would definitely recommend it.

    Response from Lara:

How are you? Just wanted to say thank you for coming and thank you for your recommendation. Lara : )

  • Really cool space, and very conveniently located. Lara has been incredibly helpful as well... dont miss out ;)

  • Excellent! Really enjoyed my stay in this little gem. A little tricky to get in but Lara's instructions were very clear and once in the flat is exactly as the pics.
Clean, quiet with a quick. The area is residential but a short walk to restaurants the tube and buses. I will go back - I can think of no better endorsement :)

  • Great flat, in a wonderful neighbourhood. There's tons of good food around, and the tube is about a 12 minute walk. Everything you need is there - kettle, fridge, toaster, etc.

The flat is a bit smaller than it looks in the photos, but it was fine for my needs. There is a leak in the ceiling above the bed, which drips when there's heavy rain.

While I didn't get to meet Lara, she was very helpful, check-in and out was easy, and she had some great restaurant recommendations!

  • The bast endorsement that I can give for Lara's flat is this: I went back! My second visit this year to her properties on Burslem St. Once again, check-in and check-out was very easy. Easier in fact - it seems to be totally automated now. The flat was clean, comfortable and convenient - everything you want from an Airbnb rental. I've come to love the neighborhood as well. It's very close to all transportation yet you get a bit of saving being just a few blocks of the bustle of the city while still being in Zone 1. If you are not familiar with the neighborhood, definitely map it before you arrive - it's easy to get turned around - but once you've found it, you'll realize how central it is. As for the flat itself, it has plenty of heat (or fans if it's warmer) and all was clean and tidy when I arrived. Highly recommended - thanks again, Lara!

  • Lara was very helpful and she accommodated all my needs. Location is great because you are not far from the DLR (to go to the east for conferences et al) and also from Circle and District line (to go more to the centre).

Nicely furnished studio! As in pics.
    Fast Internet!
Very close to Brick Lane (one of my favorite London areas)
The area is quiet, so you get your sleep if you want. Even during day time.

Kind of hard to find the first time, then you get used to it.
Ideal for a couple, or eventually also couple with 1 child.

If it rains a lot there is one crack through which from time to time drops falls onto the bed.

  • The flat is very nice, is comfortable, its very secure, the neighborhood at first could make you feel insecure, but not at all, on the contrary is pretty secure, and the neighbours are kind, they actually helped me to find the flat.

The bed is adorable is big, the furniture in the flat is pretty, the kitchen is good, I never used but seems pretty good, the bath is super, everything in this flat is great.

I never go out for dinner or lunch near from the flat, but theres a bunch of places of indian and asian food.

At first it take me forever to find that little box when you're get the keys, sounds very complicated when you get the info to get in, but once you do it, its easy.

The nearest tube station is Aldgate East, its about 10 minutes walking, I did it all the time, Do it so you can clicking whit everything around the flat and shops and everything.

Theres a place next to the tube station called Duce i Think is a pretty Deli the host is awesome, you have to try it.
