  • This was my first Airbnb stay and I was pretty apprehensive about it. But my great hosts, M and family, were helpful with directions and suggestions even before I got to Chicago.
Their home is beautiful and very clean. A large balcony allows a wonderful dekko of the Chicago skyline.
The room was comfortable and quiet with a private bathroom and ample closet space. The breakfast spread was awesome!. Chatting with them over breakfast was even better!! They went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable not only in their home but also while going around the city as this was my first visit to Chicago.
It was a short walk to Mc Cormick Place and some great restaurants around. Very well connected by bus as well as trains to Downtown.
I have the most wonderful memories of my time spent with M and family (including their friendly dog) and I highly recommend them and Airbnb.

  • Dear all,

we spent 6 nights at Ms place and hat an awesome time here. M and her family really took care of us. The room in the appartment is equiped with a queen size bed, a shelf, a desk and has a seperate bathroom. You will find a clean and nice amtosphere. A special thanks and huge compliment for the great breakfast which we could enjoy every morning. If you bring enough time, M and her family are open for long and interesting chats. :-)

All in all, this place we can highly recommend for short-term and even long-term-stays.

  • I really enjoyed my stay with M and her family. The apartment is great, perfect location, very safe and close to downtown as well as Michigan av and the lake, and lots of other sights in Chicago. Also easily accessible by bus and train. The place is super clean, spacious and modern, and the room is fully equipped with queen sized bed, closet and own bathroom. I was delighted with delicious breakfasts every morning, and my hosts went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

  • It was my first time with airbnb and it could not been better experience!

  • Our stay at this apartment have been very nice. It's convenient close by to the buses and the "L".

The owner Monica is very nice and takes care of her guests.
Although it was high 70's she didn't turn on the AC so it was quiet muggy and warm inside our room. There where thunderstorms out side so we couldn't keep our windows open during the night.
The room is very small so the bed is up the wall at one side. You have to crawl over the other person, not always bad, when you sleep up against the wall.
For a single person it is an ideal place.

Thank you Monica for the breakfasts you put up every morning.

    Kind regards
    Rob and Georgia.

    Response from M.:

Pleasant and engaging as a couple, they do appreciate their privacy and were respectful. A bit disappointing and surprising in their comments and need to call out any concern they had with the temperature of the room since this was not communicated until after the fact, would expect to have any concerns addressed immediately as all channels of communication were open. Would also address any reference to a small room as the room is a standard size, and comfortable with the location of the bed clearly communicated in the photo of the room. Felt they were considerate and interesting to talk to, enjoyed the time we spent talking, and felt comfortable hosting them in our home.

  • Incredible warm, friendly and very helpful especially for someone new to the city. Had an incredible time and would recommend MR to anyone!

  • My first stay with an airbnb host could not have been better. M gave me great instructions on how to get to the adress by train and or by taxi.
I had my own room with my own bathroom directly by the apartment entrance. The apartment has a big balcony were you can enjoy the skyline of Chicago. The breakfast that was made for me every morning was just amazing. M and her family gave me tips on what to see in town and what resturants to try and even gave me my own guided tour around downtown chicago and a tour of the art institute of Chicago. There is a bus stop just in front of the building and it only took about 15-20 min to get to the navy pier area. I can easilly recommend M as an airbnb host if you are looking for a place to stay in Chicago.
