Art galleries, antiques, tie-dye, ice-cream, tatoos, music, glass, leather, curiosities on both sides of the Delaware River. NYC 2 hours away. Philadelphia 45 minutes by car. TRENTON NJ has trains to both, and it's about a 30 minute car ride to the station.
The whole house and garden.
Interaction with Guests
Not at all when they rent the house. We leave the area.
Not only is the house in the center of town, yet on a quiet street, it is one of the few on Acquetong Creek that flows through town into the Delaware, and the only one with a garden under the antique stone train trestle. While town can be busy, in the garden one is transported from the hustle and bustle.
No. There is an area taxi and bus service to NYC but everything else requires a car. However, all of New Hope and Lambertville attractions are walkable.
Other Things to Note
Generally we rent our house out whole and go someplace on vacation.
Intelligent, respectful adults with good common sense who treat the house well and maintain it as they found it. Who will respect the privacy areas and be truthful. Well mannered pets 2+years welcome. Smoking outside only.

I am a communication strategist and writer and my husband an artist. He love to work in wood and I in words. We travel when people rent our home. We love dogs. We call our place - and anyplace we go - "conversation farm" because when we were considering buying a farm, we were asked what we would grow - and the answer was: Conversation. I am on facebook and like new friends. It stimulates the conversation
