Beautiful home, inside out. If you need a few days, a week or even a month stay, I have just the right place for you! Two bedroom, two bath home. Large fenced in yard for privacy. Walk-in ready!
Older house with modern appeal. The house is tall and narrow so stairs and staircases are narrow especially to the basement and the upstairs ceilings will be low. Also expect small bedrooms. I have it prepared and well stocked so that when you walk in, you have all the things you will need to call it a second home.
The home is located in Pleasant Ridge. Interstate 71 and 75 is nearby. Norwood, Oakley and Kennedy Heights surrounds my location. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, we are an urban working to middle class neighborhood. Half the street are apartment dwellers, while the other half are homeowners. I live about half way down a no outlet street, so you won't hear much street noise from my location. Since we are centrally located in Cincinnati, you will find easy access to the suburbs north of us and downtown to the south of us. Within the area, you will get the hustle and bustle of the city on the outside with the charm of a cozy cottage on the inside.
I will promptly answer any questions you have before you consider our home. You can also look over past guest reviews. There is alot to be said about the experiences of guest stays first hand. For those last minute stays, I will try my best to accommodate you. Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon!
Keyless entry for late night arrivals and/or flexible check-in times.
Laundry washer and dryer use in the basement. Detergent and supplies are provided.
I have a second Airbnb listing. There is an apartment that sits in front of the house. The house is seperate from the apartment. The yard, sidewalk space and basement for laundry use are shared areas of the BNB.
Interaction with guests
I will periodically be around for BNB maintenance and cleaning. I will not at all enter without agreed advanced notice from you. The whole house is for you to enjoy, with the exception of a shared locked basement for laundry use. If you are staying over a month and need mail delivery, I can coordinate that with you in advance. Lastly, if you need to be picked up to and from the airport, I can do so more competitively priced than a taxi. Just let me know far in advance so that my schedule can meet with yours.
Other things to note
Briefly read over your info sheet folder when you check in. The house manual should answer most of the frequently asked questions I have had in my four years of hosting.
Follow one simple rule: treat my home as if it were your own. Promptly report any repairs or damages during your stay. If you smoke, please do so outside and dispose of it properly. Keep the front gate closed at all times. You are welcome to use the parking space in front of the two car garage. I recommend compact cars only due to the entrance space allowed. I do have a shared driveway with my neighbor. There are two to three side street parking spaces in front of the home. However, you are able to park anywhere along both sides of the side street nearest the house.
I welcome pets with advanced notice. Please do not bring cats as it has a high allergen to me and other guests.
I am flexible on the check in and check out times. But I would like to know as far in advance as possible so that I can accomodate you during your stay.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.

I am a 4 year Airbnb Host. Some of you have traveled from a great distance, whether it is for work or leisure or for visiting relatives or friends you haven't seen in awhile. Others of you are more local, looking for that occasional escape away from home. A good portion of you are booking for the first time. I grew up in Kenwood and know the City of Cincinnati and surrounding suburbs fairly well. So if you need some pointers, please do not hesitate to ask. Should you be stopping by briefly, staying for a weekend or just need a work diversion during the week, I will happily provide you with a laundry list of fun things to do around town.
If you are a newbie or haven't yet figured out, this Airbnb thing is about more than a stay, it's about the experience! I hope you take full advantage of that notion while you are in town. I am truly honored and blessed to have met guests from all areas of the country and the world! I invite you to stay at either my one bedroom apartment or my two bedroom house. They sit adjacent to each other, both providing all the needed comforts of a home away from home.
Aside from my duties of providing you Airbnb hospitality, I work a full-time job coupled with parenting a toddler and a teen. My time is fleeting to get to check in on guests during your stay. The days I am best available are Wednesdays and Thursdays. But I will work with you, as much as possible, from your initial interest until the last day at check out.
In my hosting efforts, the end result is to cater to you as an individual with a unique need for your stay. Rather than treat you like just another booked guest passing in the night. Afterall, that is why you prefer to Air over stumbling on a random hotel chain off the interstate. I will offer you more than what hotels could offer...the convenience of flexible check-in and check-out times, a space that doesn't feel like a box and some simple amenities to get you started for your stay. You can choose a check in where I personally give you the keys or you may opt for a late night arrival with a lockbox on site. Whichever the case, I look forward to your stay with us. Until then...Happy Air'ing!
