Center of Cincy House for your Stay

House - Entire home/apt · Oakleaf Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45212, United States

The Space

Beautiful home, inside out! If you need a few days, a week or even a month stay, I have just the right place for you! Two bedroom, two bath home. Large fenced yard for privacy. Playset in the backyard. Washer and dryer access in the basement. Close proximity to I-71 & I-75 Interstates. All the things you have to call a second home.

The home is located in Pleasant Ridge. The City of Norwood is just a skip away. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, we are an urban working to middle class neighborhood. Half the street are apartment dwellers, while the other half are homeowners. I live about half way down a no outlet street, so you won't hear much street noise from my location. Since we are centrally located in Cincinnati, you will find easy access to the suburbs north of us and downtown to the south of us. Within the area, you will get the hustle and bustle of the city on the outside with the charm of a cozy cottage on the inside.

I will promptly answer any questions you have before you consider our home. You can also look over past guest reviews. There is alot to be said about the experiences of guest stays first hand. For those last minute stays, I will try my best to accommodate you. Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon!

I will periodically be around for BNB maintenance and cleaning. I will not at all enter without agreed advanced notice from you. The whole house is for you to enjoy, with the exception of a shared basement for laundry use. If you are staying over a month and need mail delivery, I can coordinate that with you in advance. Lastly, if you need to be picked up to and from the airport, I can do so more competitively priced than a taxi. Just let me know far in advance so that my schedule can meet with yours.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Our stay was wonderful! Debbie gave clear and comprehensive communication before and throughout our stay. The house was in great condition, and it was obvious that she's put a lot of thought and work into making it feel like home! We spent most of our time out and about, but the time we spent at the house was very warm and we felt at ease. The entire weekend went off without a hitch (well, except for the cereal bowl we accidentally broke!) - and we were all a little sad to leave. Thanks Debbie!

  • Our stay at Debbie's cozy house was the absolute best! Her location made it easy for us to get to the places we wanted to go. i.e.. Hyde Park, downtown Cincy, Covington, KY, etc. AND the accommodations were outstanding in and of themselves. Our grand kids especially liked the spacious back yard and playground swing and tree house. I liked the little niceties like the snacks Deb left for us. The next time our clan gets together for another visit with our youngest daughter in Cincinnati, we certainly hope Debbie's house is available.

  • My boyfriend and I came into town for a convention over the weekend, and even though we were to arrive very late our first evening Debbie was incredibly accommodating! Debbie kept in contact throughout the entire week building up to the trip, made sure that we knew exactly where we were going and that if we had any needs at all we knew how to accomplish our goals. The house wasn't difficult to find at all with her incredibly accurate descriptions and even in the middle of the night we felt secure in our travels. I highly recommend staying in this adorable home and working with Debbie!

  • Debbie’s home was perfect for our stay in Cincinnati. It was centrally located so we could easily get to just about anywhere in the city in about 20 minutes. The home is comfortable and Debbie has supplied everything you’ll need including a hair dryer, iron and all of the kitchen gear that you could imagine. She was flexible with our arrival time and always got right back to us if we had a question. We will definitely stay at Debbie’s house on our next trip to Cincy!

  • Clean, quiet, and very comfortable home with super easy awesome home-away-from-home! She had coffee and other beverages waiting. The owner provided reservation and location information quickly. Pet friendly, too. I'd stay again.

  • Debbie's was a fantastic place to stay. The house is full of charm, the neighborhood is quiet, and we found everything we needed already waiting for us inside. We especially loved having Apple TV upstairs, which gave us access to Netflix. Debbie was very helpful and even sent us some recommendations for local places to eat. Very happy we stayed here. This cute little house is a great find!

  • Everything others have said is absolutely true about Debbie and her lovely home. She has thought of everything and her personal touches are wonderful. Debbie was very prompt and attentive to all of our needs. She went above and beyond hosting to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. She makes sure her home is ready to actually be lived in and adds extras on top of that! We felt our privacy was respected and all of our needs were met before we even had to ask. She was over there multiple times during the winter storm to ensure our comfort and safety. I simply cannot say enough good things about her and her home. We hope to stay there for every visit and highly recommend that anyone stay there when visiting the Cincinnati area...just not when we plan to visit! =)

  • Debbie really thought of everything! Lots of wonderful touches such as cookies and coffee in the kitchen and orange juice, milk and sodas in the fridge and handmade soap and toiletries in the bathroom. Definitely a much better choice than a hotel.

Numbers can be hard to see on the house if you arrive at night but Debbie tries to make it easier to find the house with her directions and by leaving the porch light on.

Her house manual includes a list of local restaurants and attractions, which was very helpful.

The house is cozy and comfortable and was perfect for our family's stay. Will definitely stay here again.

  • Debbie made our stay in Cincinnati a breeze! This is our third time using AirBnB, but the first time ever being in Cincy. We were flying from British Columbia, and my brother and his family were driving from Ontario for the game (GO BENGALS!). Check in was nice and easy.. especially since our flights were delayed a few hours.. arriving at 2am in the morning!

I lost my phone in a taxi on the way to the house from the airport... the next morning, I had an email from Debbie saying the cab driver contacted her (my phone was not locked...scary, right?) and I was able to get my phone back!!! All with Debbies help :)

The house was perfect, fits the description perfectly. The kitchen was great, and easy to cook in..and all the little extra touches that Debbie left in the house were exactly what we needed!

I would not hesitate to book with Debbie again the next time we come to cheer on the Bengals! WHO DEY!

  • This was my first airbnb experience and I must say: WOW. Debbie was an excellent host. She was easy to contact and quick with responses. The house was very cozy and the location was excellent. We were very close to all the places in Cincinnati that we wanted to go. The house was very easy to find and Debbie's check in/check out process was simple.

The house was full of little thoughtful touches that you wouldn't get in a hotel. The kitchen was well stocked with nearly every dish and utensil you would need during your stay. Debbie left us with fresh fruits, orange juice and soft drinks in the fridge, and a box of cookies. The bathrooms had plenty of towels, blow dryer, shaving cream, shampoo, and lots of other little amenities. I was impressed with the thoughtfulness of having the baby gate, infant tub, toddler stool, and a handful of other kid items. If we bring our children with us next time we'll definitely be staying here again.

The neighborhood is a typical working class neighborhood and we never felt unsafe or uneasy there. The house next door was messy and overgrown, but all other houses appeared well maintained. We weren't able to park in the driveway during our stay but never had a problem finding a spot directly in front of the house. I would definitely stay here again the next time we take a trip to Cincinnati.

I am thrilled to be your AirBNB Host! Some of you have traveled from a great distance, whether it is for work or leisure or for visiting relatives or friends you haven't seen in awhile. Others of you are more local, looking for that occasional escape away from home. A good portion of you are booking for the first time. I know the City of Cincinnati and surrounding suburbs fairly well. So if you need some pointers, please don't hesitate to ask. Should you be stopping by briefly, staying for a weekend or just need a work diversion during the week, I will happily provide you with a laundry list of fun things to do around town. If you are a newbie or haven't yet figured out, this Airbnb thing is about more than a stay, it's about the experience. I hope you take full advantage of that notion while you are in town. I am truly honored and blessed to have met guests from all areas of the country and world! I was the randomly chosen location of a friend reunion to meet mid point from Michigan to Tennessee after a 10 year absence, I was a recovery hub of a toddler in town for heart surgery at Children's Hospital. I was a vacant spot for a mom throwing a Breakfast at Tiffany's bridal shower to marry off her last daughter for a wedding stay. To think, this all started when Cincy was the host city of the World Choir Games! Aside from my duties of providing you Airbnb hospitality, I work full-time in sales coupled with parenting a toddler and a teen. My time is fleeting to get to check in on guests during your stay. But I will work with you, as much as possible, from your initial interest until the last day at check out. In my hosting efforts, the end result is to cater to you as an individual with a unique need for your stay. Rather than treat you like just another booked guest passing in the night. Afterall, that is why you prefer to Air over stumbling on a random hotel chain off the interstate. I will offer you more than what hotels could offer...the convenience of flexible check-in and check-out times, a space that doesn't feel like a box and some simple amenities to get you started for your stay. You can choose a check in where I personally give you the keys or you may opt for a late night arrival with a lockbox on site. Whichever the case, I look forward to your stay with us. Until then...Happy Air'ing!
