Beautiful home, inside out. If you need a few days, a week or even a month stay, I have just the right place for you! Two bedroom, two bath home. Large fenced in yard for privacy. Walk-in ready!

The space

Older house with modern appeal. The house is tall and narrow so stairs and staircases are narrow especially to the basement and the upstairs ceilings will be low. Also expect small bedrooms. I have it prepared and well stocked so that when you walk in, you have all the things you will need to call it a second home.

The home is located in Pleasant Ridge. Interstate 71 and 75 is nearby. Norwood, Oakley and Kennedy Heights surrounds my location. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, we are an urban working to middle class neighborhood. Half the street are apartment dwellers, while the other half are homeowners. I live about half way down a no outlet street, so you won't hear much street noise from my location. Since we are centrally located in Cincinnati, you will find easy access to the suburbs north of us and downtown to the south of us. Within the area, you will get the hustle and bustle of the city on the outside with the charm of a cozy cottage on the inside.

I will promptly answer any questions you have before you consider our home. You can also look over past guest reviews. There is alot to be said about the experiences of guest stays first hand. For those last minute stays, I will try my best to accommodate you. Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon!

Guest access

Keyless entry for late night arrivals and/or flexible check-in times.

Laundry washer and dryer use in the basement. Detergent and supplies are provided.

I have a second Airbnb listing. There is an apartment that sits in front of the house. The house is seperate from the apartment. The yard, sidewalk space and basement for laundry use are shared areas of the BNB.

Interaction with guests

I will periodically be around for BNB maintenance and cleaning. I will not at all enter without agreed advanced notice from you. The whole house is for you to enjoy, with the exception of a shared locked basement for laundry use. If you are staying over a month and need mail delivery, I can coordinate that with you in advance. Lastly, if you need to be picked up to and from the airport, I can do so more competitively priced than a taxi. Just let me know far in advance so that my schedule can meet with yours.

Other things to note

Briefly read over your info sheet folder when you check in. The house manual should answer most of the frequently asked questions I have had in my four years of hosting.

House Rules
No smoking
Check in is anytime after 2PM

Follow one simple rule: treat my home as if it were your own. Promptly report any repairs or damages during your stay. If you smoke, please do so outside and dispose of it properly. Keep the front gate closed at all times. You are welcome to use the parking space in front of the two car garage. I recommend compact cars only due to the entrance space allowed. I do have a shared driveway with my neighbor. There are two to three side street parking spaces in front of the home. However, you are able to park anywhere along both sides of the side street nearest the house.

I welcome pets with advanced notice. Please do not bring cats as it has a high allergen to me and other guests.

I am flexible on the check in and check out times. But I would like to know as far in advance as possible so that I can accomodate you during your stay.

Some spaces are shared - I host two Airbnb listings. They sit adjacent but separate from each other. The only thing shared is the yard and the basement for laundry use.

This was our first Air BnB stay, and thanks to Deb, it definitely won't be our last. Deb's place was great, and the value most certainly can't be beat. The house was bright, colorful, and stocked with all of the essentials (and then some)! We were very satisfied and hope to stay again during our next trip to Cincinnati.

An exceptional AirBnb experience, from start to finish. My host, Deb, was very prompt and clear in all of her communications and everything was set up so nicely, which was much appreciated on my part due to involuntary airline schedule changes and I didn't get until very late at night. I was in town to search for a place to live for a new job in Cincy, and I couldn't ask for a better location convenient to both I-75 and I-71. It was a short drive to find places to eat, (e.g. Kenwood, Hyde Park, and Clifton) and the neighborhood was nice and quiet, so I slept safe and sound. I would recommend staying at Deb's for whatever your needs may be while enjoying Cincinnati.

Debbie's place was wonderful! It is close enough to the city but not in the middle of the craziness of downtown. It is very homey and comfortable place to stay

The house was clean and comfortable. I was so happy to find a place that allowed dogs with a fenced in yard. The location was exactly like Deb described. It was only 15-20 minutes from many of the places we visited in the area.

This was one of the best Airbnb stays I've ever had! The house is so perfect and my little pup loved the yard! It's so cozy, has everything one could need and Deb was very helpful! I would absolutely stay here again!

Deb was a fantastic host. I stayed at her home for the summer to complete an internship and couldn't have found a more perfect rental. The house had everything you could possibly need--from kitchen supplies to washer and dryer to ample bed sheets and whatnot. Over the summer, there were a couple of issues with the house that were totally out of Deb's control (internet went out, power went out, A/C broke) and Deb was on it immediately and kept me updated. As for the neighborhood/location, it isn't perfect. It's a little bit of a drive to almost anything, although the new Kroger area will be a great help and the Kenwood area has everything else you'd need. The neighbors were a little loud out back on the weekends and there was often a lot of car bass noise from the main road. But, overall, I felt like Deb's description of the place was accurate and the place is still a great value (I worked with folks paying a lot more for a lot less!) Overall, this was a fantastic stay. Definitely a perfect set-up for anyone staying long-term for an internship, fellowship, etc.

Deb User ProfileDeb is a superhost.

I am a 5th year Airbnb Host. Some of you have traveled from a great distance, whether it is for work or leisure or for visiting relatives or friends you haven't seen in awhile. Others of you are more local, looking for that occasional escape away from home. A good portion of you are booking for the first time. I grew up in Kenwood and know the City of Cincinnati and surrounding suburbs fairly well. So if you need some pointers, please do not hesitate to ask. Should you be stopping by briefly, staying for a weekend or just need a work diversion during the week, I will happily provide you with a laundry list of fun things to do around town.

If you are a newbie or haven't yet figured out, this Airbnb thing is about more than a stay, it's about the experience! I hope you take full advantage of that notion while you are in town. I am truly honored and blessed to have met guests from all areas of the country and the world! I invite you to stay at either my one bedroom apartment or my two bedroom house. They sit adjacent to each other, both providing all the needed comforts of a home away from home.

Aside from my duties of providing you Airbnb hospitality, I work a full-time job coupled with parenting a toddler and a teen. My time is fleeting to get to check in on guests during your stay. The days I am best available are Mondays and Tuesdays. But I will work with you, as much as possible, from your initial interest until the last day at check out.

In my hosting efforts, the end result is to cater to you as an individual with a unique need for your stay. Rather than treat you like just another booked guest passing in the night. Afterall, that is why you prefer to Air over stumbling on a random hotel chain off the interstate. I will offer you more than what hotels could offer...the convenience of flexible check-in and check-out times, a space that doesn't feel like a box and some simple amenities to get you started for your stay. I am flexible with your first day arrival time since I use a keyless entry door system for convenient check-ins. I look forward to your stay with us. Until then...Happy Air'ing!
