The bunk house sleeps up to 4 adults in two sets of bunks. The bunk house also features a full bath and access to the pool area.
Located in the heart of Bravos de Boston, on Vieques’ North Shore, Casa De Claire rests beautifully upon an uphill dead end street, offering breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Culebra. A five minute drive will take you to downtown shops and restaurants, and a five minute walk will bring you to nearby beaches. CDC consists of three air conditioned rental apartments and a bunk house in addition to the main house which is also available for rent.
I loved our stay at Casa de Claire! Very clean and the bunk house was great for a group of young people. My only issue is that Casa de Claire is pretty far from Esperanza and the main beaches. It's also very hard to learn your way to the house. Got lost a few times. But overall the property is great and good for people who may not need to spend time on the other side of Vieques.
We had an amazing time at Casa de Claire! The bunk house was a fun little get away for us and Clarie was very helpful. The entire grounds are beautiful. We plan on visiting Vieques again and well will definitely be staying here again!
Casa de Claire's Bunk House was very clean, safe, and comfortable. It is definitely bare bones and more of a place to just put your stuff and sleep, but if that's all you need you can't beat it at that price. There is a well equipped communal kitchen beside the pool to use and a small fridge in the room to store food.
Claire and her husband Gordie and very friendly and hospitable. Gordie came to airport to pick me up and they were both very willing to help me find things on the island and give recommendations for restaurants and activities.
The only suggested I will give is to bring earplugs. There are tons of roosters around and sometimes they crow all hours of the night. Though that is not a point against Casa de Claire, that would be an issue anywhere on the island. I did get used to it after a couple nights no problem, but if you are a light sleeper earplugs would be essential.
A really great place for my first trip to Vieques! I loved it!
Really a terrific little place to stay on the island, if you don't want to stay in a hotel. Note that you will have to drive through town (Isabel Segunda) to get to the restaurants and bars on the little town on the south side of the island (the malecon in Esperanza).
It's a really nice place next to ferry station. In First time it is not easy to find, but actually it's not too hard.
Me and my friends had a great stay at Casa de Claire!! The bunkhouse was just perfect for the three of us. We also enjoyed the pool area with the outdoor kitchen a lot. Hector and Jean, the couple who takes care of the place are very helpful and fun to talk to :-)
My friend and I had a great stay in the bunk house. We loved the pool area and the outdoor kitchen as it made for a great social ground. The beach at walking distance wasn't the best, but we made do (who can complain when you're swimming in water so warm and clear). We wished we stayed at least 5 days. Would definitely recommend this accomodation to friends.
This place was wonderful!!! Claire was very communicative and Hector was as sweet as can be. The property secluded, so other than the roosters, you don't hear much. It's close to town, beautiful, and we saw horses and iguanas wander on to the property. I definitely recommend this property for others to stay!
Amazing. Super close to the Ferry, we were picked up (in a car we later were allowed to rent from Claire), and were very close to a little town with a market and bars. Caire was very hospitable and gave us amazing information about the island. Will definitely return!
Claire was an amazing host! She picked us up from the ferry and then brought us to get our car rental. The bunk house was all we needed on the beautiful island of Vieques. I would definitely stay there every time we are there.
