Indoor options are also readily available with world-class museums, wine tasting, superb dining opportunities, shopping and spa services. We are only 1.7 miles away from Hwy 14 and the quaint town of Stevenson but the retreat feels extremely remote because of the huge amount of trees and the lack of neighbors.

This was a glorious escape from city life. It had the quiet of camping with the luxuries of a warm shower, soft bed, flushing toilet, sink, and electricity. It was fantastic to complete a day of Columbia River Gorge hiking and have our base camp ready for us. Fortunately, no hotels were available in Hood River when we were looking for a getaway. Online we happened upon this private Eden and are grateful that we did! The hosts were friendly and welcoming to our young puppy. He loved his first camping trip. We cannot wait to return for another adventure.

What a magical place! A very unique experience. There is a neat little path down to the creek with all kinds of surprises along the way. My boyfriend who had been waiting to propose decided it was the perfect place. I said yes!

We loved this little spot. It was a bit chilly at night, even with the electric blanket. The firepit was delightful. If you want a unique Airbnb experience in the outdoors with some creature comforts, I would highly recommend this spot.

The outside shower is private and very nice, especially on hot days, as well as the daybed down in the shade by the stream. The tepee is very comfortable and would be a nice experience during inclement weather. the patio over the kitchen is a nice addition to have a glass of wine and view the gorge.

Karen And Chris User ProfileKaren And Chris is a superhost.

Hi! Chris and I have lived in the Gorge for 7 years and in the Portland area for 14. We have been hosts with airbnb for 4 years and have absolutely loved the experience. We want your stay with us to be 100% perfect! We take the responsibility of being a host very seriously ( not in a freaky way) and really want this to be fantastic for you. We absolutely love to hike, and recreate in the area. We can direct you to wine tasting, fishing, kite boarding, wind surfing, yoga studios, spas, shopping or hiking. I am a school counselor and Chris is a sales rep. We have made some fantastic friends through this experience and it has restored our faith in the goodness of people.
Our dogs are part of our family and hopefully you will love them as much as we do. We are looking forward to meeting you!
