One bedroom ready to go for your stay. Kitchen bar to host a small get together or just to treat yourself to the convenience of an extended stay. A large fenced yard surrounds the apartment for complete privacy. A firepit to hang around or to show off your Smores talent. A fold out single bed with a memory foam mattress to accomodate up to three guests. Close to both the 75 & 71 Interstate highway. This retreat is a must stay!
The home is located in Pleasant Ridge. The City of Norwood is just a skip away. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, we are an urban working to middle class neighborhood. Half the street are apartment dwellers, while the other half are homeowners. I live about half way down a no outlet street, so you won't hear much street noise from my location. Since we are centrally located in Cincinnati, you will find easy access to the suburbs north of us and downtown to the south of us. Within the area, you will get the hustle and bustle of the city on the outside with the charm of a cozy cottage on the inside.
I will promptly answer any questions you have before you consider our home. You can also look over past guest reviews. There is alot to be said about the experiences of guest stays first hand. For those last minute stays, I will try my best to accommodate you. Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon!

Laundry and washer use in the basement of an adjoining house
I have a second Airbnb listing. There is a house that sits in front of the apartment. The apartment building is seperate from the house. The yard, sidewalk space and basement for laundry use are shared areas of the BNB.
Interaction with Guests
I will periodically be around for BNB maintenance and cleaning. I will not at all enter without agreed advanced notice from you. The whole apartment is for you to enjoy. If you are staying over a month and need mail delivery, I can coordinate that with you in advance. Lastly, if you need to be picked up to and from the airport, I can do so more competitively priced than a taxi. Just let me know far in advance so that my schedule can meet with yours.
City life can be noisy, but my street is surprisingly quiet. The house is located in a diverse neighborhood. I've made it my home for over 6 years. I can't say enough about my friendly neighbors, the variety of shops and restaurants within reach and primarily just the personality of Pleasant Ridge.
If you don't want to use your car or grab a taxi, there is a metro bus stop at the end of the street. I also recommend it going downtown for Reds or Bengals games or anything around Fountain Square. Parking can be hectic on busy weekends downtown.
Other Things to Note
Please briefly read over your info sheet folder when you check in. The apartment manual should answer most of the frequently asked questions I have had in the two years of hosting.
Follow one simple rule: treat my home as if it were your own. Promptly report any repairs or damages during your stay. If you smoke, please do so outside and dispose of it properly. Keep the front gate closed at all times. You are welcome to use the parking space in front of the two car garage. I recommend compact cars only due to the entrance space. I do have a shared driveway with my neighbor, so that may present a challenge. There are 2-3 side street parking spaces in front of the home, which is probably your best bet.
I am flexible on the check in and check out times. But I would like to know as far in advance as possible so that I can accomodate you during your stay.
I love this little house! It was a perfect size and had everything you'd want, plus more. Deb provided a lot of extras for the kitchen and other little touches here and there to make your stay very comfortable. Books to read, DVDs to watch, and even goodies in the kitchen for you to enjoy. Arrival and departure both went very smoothly. I highly recommend this little place!
Deb met me at the apartment and showed me around which was great since we were staying for 18 days. The apartment was perfect for 2 adults and 2 dogs! Prior to visiting I asked Deb about a crockpot. She did not have one at the time but purchased one for us to use! I would recommend bringing a power strip since there are no outlets in the kitchen. There was plenty of parking on the street but one of the neighbors left us a note that we weren't parked in the right place. We hope to stay at the apartment again when I am in town.
I cannot write enough good things about Debbie and this wonderful apartment.
Debbie is easily one of the best AirBnB hosts I have ever had. From my very first contact with her, she was warm, friendly, and very responsive to questions and requests. She thinks of absolutely everything in preparing for your move-in, from extra sheets and pillows, to several supplies like toilet paper and paper towels that I always forget. She even provides a few welcome snacks and treats in the fridge. I stayed in the apartment during this first visit for nearly 2 months, and in the very few times there was an issue (like a parking misunderstanding with a neighbor), Debbie always handled it very respectfully and kindly. She is open and warm and communicative--just the kind of landlord that every tenant hopes they will be blessed enough to get.
As for the apartment itself, it could not have been more comfortable, or have suited my needs better. The bed and furnishings are very comfortable, the appliances modern and efficient, and the complimentary use of the washer and dryer was extremely convenient and appreciated. Deb even got a great deal on a new flatscreen TV during Black Friday sales, and promptly brought it over for an unexpected "upgrade" in my viewing enjoyment!
The neighborhood is right on the cusp of the city and the suburb line, so one does need to exercise reasonable judgment when walking around the area, but I never felt terribly unsafe at any time. There is a busline that goes straight downtown right on the corner (about a 40-minute ride), and there is even a convenience store right across the street, where I was able to stop frequently to get some staples and snacks, which saved several trips to the grocery store.
Most of all, the place is quiet and private. After several recent nightmare stays in other apartments with loud and drunken neighbors, this was a peaceful haven which I was thankful for every night when I returned home from work. Whenever I have business or pleasure in the Cincinnati area, this apartment will DEFINITELY be my place of choice--hands down. In fact, I have already booked a return stay in the spring, when I will be back in the area for business. I wish every AirBnB space was this comfortable, and every host was as kind and accommodating as Debbie.
In short, if this place is available, you should not hesitate to book it--you'll be glad you did. You will not find a better host or space for this reasonable a price anywhere.
Deb's place was very convenient for our quick weekend trip to a friend's wedding. Her place was clean and comfortable, and close to many shopping areas as well the wedding locations. Debbie left a suggestion list for food in the neighborhood, though we didn't end up using it or the DVDs. We never had any trouble finding parking, but could've done with a better lit walkway to the stay. When we arrived, there was necessary information missing from Deb's correspondence. Fortunately, she was very quick to respond. It only wish it wasn't as cold.
I'm happy to hear much of your stay went well! I want to emphasize how important it is to communicate anything I missed to keep your stay as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately your stay was in the transition of Summer going into Fall temps. A simple phone call or text to me, which I usually urge all guests to do, would have alleviated the heater issue. I forgot to turn it on from the fuse box from the summer weather :)
Thank you Debbie for being a great host. We enjoyed your quiet little place and the yummy goodies you left for us.
My 5 week stay here couldn't have been better! The home was clean, filled with supplies, and everything I expected (and then some). The WiFi connection was perfect, and there was a nice desk area in the bedroom for when I needed to get work done. The home is well insulated, and the washer/drier were a nice added bonus.
The home is in a nice, tucked away area, yet is just a few minute drive from most major sites/stores around the city. Debbie was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and a great host to work with. You can tell that she really is willing to help however she can, and very genuine. Definitely would stay here again if I end up needing a short-term place to stay in the city!

I am thrilled to be your AirBNB Host! Some of you have traveled from a great distance, whether it is for work or leisure or for visiting relatives or friends you haven't seen in awhile. Others of you are more local, looking for that occasional escape away from home. A good portion of you are booking for the first time. I know the City of Cincinnati and surrounding suburbs fairly well. So if you need some pointers, please don't hesitate to ask. Should you be stopping by briefly, staying for a weekend or just need a work diversion during the week, I will happily provide you with a laundry list of fun things to do around town.
If you are a newbie or haven't yet figured out, this Airbnb thing is about more than a stay, it's about the experience! I hope you take full advantage of that notion while you are in town. I am truly honored and blessed to have met guests from all areas of the country and world! I was the randomly chosen location of a friend reunion to meet mid point from Michigan to Tennessee after a 10 year absence. I was a recovery hub for a toddler and his family in town for heart surgery at Children's Hospital. I was a vacant spot for a mom throwing a Breakfast at Tiffany's bridal shower to marry off her last daughter for a wedding stay. To think...this all started when Cincy was the chosen host city of the World Choir Games!
Aside from my duties of providing you Airbnb hospitality, I work full-time in sales coupled with parenting a toddler and a teen. My time is fleeting to get to check in on guests during your stay. But I will work with you, as much as possible, from your initial interest until the last day at check out.
In my hosting efforts, the end result is to cater to you as an individual with a unique need for your stay. Rather than treat you like just another booked guest passing in the night. Afterall, that is why you prefer to Air over stumbling on a random hotel chain off the interstate. I will offer you more than what hotels could offer...the convenience of flexible check-in and check-out times, a space that doesn't feel like a box and some simple amenities to get you started for your stay. You can choose a check in where I personally give you the keys or you may opt for a late night arrival with a lockbox on site. Whichever the case, I look forward to your stay with us. Until then...Happy Air'ing!
